~mackenzie~i sat in the white leather seat, fiddling with the ends of my hair.
"so..."
i looked up, noticing mystery had chose the seat across from me.
"thank you, so much, for doing this. i don't know anyone else who would invite a stranger on a private jet because they missed the same flight."
i smiled at him, tucking my hair behind my ear.
he smiled as well.
"it's no problem, really. think of it as...a favor. and when you mentioned a manager being angry, i could imagine how scared i would be for my career as well. if i still have mine."
he scratched the back of his neck.
he was cute, personality and looks.
"i'm sure you still have your job. who would give you up?"
i said flirtatiously.
i actually flirt with many guys alot.
i never get embarrassed saying anything out loud like that, but they do.
"you would be suprised...but thanks!"
"you're very welcome."
"shouldn't i be the one owing you a favor?"
"for what?"
"when i tripped you.."
he gave me the look that says "oh please'.
"seriously? that wasn't even bad. you didn't do anything. i should've watched where i was going."
"but i-"
i was interrupted by a waitress, setting a beer looking beverage in front of us.
"i'm sorry, i'm too young to drink..."
"so am i."
he said before taking a swig.
my eyes widened, and my mouth practically fell to the floor.
"good thing it's sparkling wine."
he chuckled.
my tension eased as i laughed too.
sparkling wine was a drink that looked like alcohol, but it was really just carbonated grape juice.
i scanned the drink before taking a gulp.
it was very much more carbonated than i remember.
i choked on the drink.
it burned my mouth, throat, even my eyes.
