Flamepelt's Tale

Prologue

Disclaimer: at the point of writing this I have only read up to Midway through the second book in the The power of three series

 It was dawn when, the smell and sight of blood made Redkit squeal in terror. He could only sit there, and watch his beloved home get destroyed. The blood of every cat he had ever known on the ground. He wanted to help, but what could he do? He was three moons from being an apprentice and had no idea how to fight, so he just sat there in horror and watched. A slender gray she-cat, Redkit recognized as his mother, Silverheart thrown onto the ground by a black tom. Redkit looked around and did the only thing he could think to do, run.

Redkit paid no attention to his surroundings, he just wanted to be far away from there. He ran until it was nearly sunset, when he finally stopped he was in a strange unknown place. Redkit noticed that not to far away there was a lake, that was just deep enough for a full grown cat to drown, but in the middle there was a rock. I could jump to that. Redkit thought to himself.

As he made his way across the lake, he noticed other cats coming towards him. Although his instincts told him to run and hide, he just stood there paralyzed in fear. Suddenly one of the cats came up to him and picked him up by the scruff carrying him away. Redkit closed his eyes tight, afraid to open them for even a second.

Soon he was placed by something warm. Redkit forced himself to slightly open one eye to see that a she-cat was licking him, Redkit felt safe for the first time that day, so he decided to snuggle closer to her to get some much needed rest.

I'm back, I should have had this done a loooooong time ago but I just lost motivation for a while, especially since I couldn't read any warrior books (because there's not a library nearby, that i know of, and I didn't own any of the books) But I was able to by all the books in the power of three and have found motivation to work on this again, I don't know how often I'll update this but I'll definitely be working on it, 403 words, That's all for now bye.
