The War In The Woods

It started about 15 years ago. I had the perfect family. I had a brother and a sister and 2 loving parents. It was perfect. All five of us living in a in a four bedroom 3 bathroom 2 story house in your very own Newberry South Carolina. But all of that changed when my big brother got killed. (in case your wondering how he got killed he was stabbed because he liked his friends sister. He was only 14. His name was Julian. My mom wanted us to be named after jewels but jewel turned out to be a Julian hence my sisters name, Jewel)Any way my parents couldn't take that horrible memory so they decided to move us to Fort Lee New Jersey on Barnes street apartment 506. I sorta liked it, they had a play ground, only cause i was 3 liked everything. But 2 years later when i had to start going to school and I guess i had a bad day and ran away(keep in mind that my older sis was 13 by then). I ran out in the wooded area and sat there and cried. My dad came looking for me and then i saw something run by me really fast. Almost faster then the speed of light. I then put my head down and cried a little harder because i was scared. When i looked back up something lunged towards me and then my dad pushed him out of the way so he couldn't touch me. Then i heard my dad say GO EMERALD AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU HEAR DON'T TURN BACK! I ran and fell but i crawled like the fastest 5 year old ever and ran home. Then i remember my mom carrying me

back to the area and telling me and my sister to stay behind a big tree then she quietly but quickly slipped through the trees and investigated. She turned into a werewolf and started sniffing around and then saw the body of a vampire on the ground pushed in the one spot of that area that had sun light. Another vampire came and cried. She hissed just loud enough for us to hear, NOOOOOO! HOW DARE YOU! HE HAD A FAMILY!!!!!!! A LIFE FOR A LIFE! WHO? WHO AM I TAKING! She was a very pale blonde woman, kinda bony and had ruby red eyes. Just like my friend Joy, but i haven't gotten to that part yet. Now where was i, oh yeah, Soon after, the dead vampires body turned into ash and slipped through the woman's fingers, floating in the wind. Again she hissed, WELL I GUESS IM TAKING BOTH OF YOU DIRTY, MANGY, MURDERERS!!!!!!!!!! WHY CANT YOU JUST DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When she was quiet if you listened close enough then you could here the sound of a little girl crying. I nudged, then whispered to my sister saying we have to help that little girl! i said. Then she snapped back saying She's probably older than you! Plus mom told us to stay here. Then i said how bout you live a little? i ran to find out where the girl was while my parents were being jumped by vampires. I know it sounds mean but i was curious. When i was about to give up i saw her rocking backing forth and asked her what was wrong and she said that lady killed my grandpa. EMERALD, JEWEL WE PROMISE YOU WE'LL BE BACK TAKE JOY WITH YOU, TAKE HER TO HER PARENTS. They were struggling so much to tell me so me and joy ran off while jewel went to our cousins house. Joy took my hand and ran really fast and when i blinked we were in front of her house. That day was a scary day. I haven't seen my parents since what they now call it, War In The Woods.
