They said, a Man can fall in love within eight seconds. D-amn beliefs... I am always surrounded with a lot of gorgeous ladies for my twenty third years of existence and never did I experience that eight seconds that they were talking about.
"Sane! I heard maraming pupunta ditong mga newly hired employees. I bet a lot of girls will be coming." Froilan told me after drinking a glass of beer. We are invited to attend this Despedida Party since most of the newly hired staffs are from other places outside the City.
They came up with this event to get to know more about their colleagues even in just one night. It's the end of their trainings and they are about to leave the City tomorrow.
"Here they are..." Froilan excitedly said after seeing the group of people coming inside the bar.
I saw five men and three ladies entering the bar. "Is that it?" I asked Froilan with somewhat disappointed tone.
"Wait for more Sane... Gren told me there are more girls in their batch whose going to come."
I shrugged then decided to drink the bottled beer. Wala naman siguro akong mapapala dito, tsk.
I checked my phone to see if there's a message [We're coming!! See you later] from Richa the girl who idolizes me and I idolize too (but not that much).
An RnB music 'Adorn' is sorrounding the club. I'm into alternatives and accoustics but this song made me feel different. So, I looked into the crowd and to the main entrance.
And from one... A group of ladies are coming in.
Two... Most of them are hot with them shorts and sleeveless blouses.
Three... Three of them seems to be 5'6", two 5'2".
Four... I noticed a very simple lady who came in last.
Five... Medium length straight with natural dark brown hair.
Six... With a dark shade lipstick, the only make up she wear.
Seven... With long red skinny jean mixed with 3/4 sleeve floral patterned upper and a golden doll shoes. Wow, This lady is so different.
EIGHT seconds... I saw her smiled at her friend which made My heart beat so fast and I fall inlove.
"Sane! Ano okay ka lang?" I came back from my reverie when Gren patted my shoulder. "Kanina ka pa nakatitig sa kay Tiara ah?"
I looked at him amazed "Tiara? Her name?" he raised his brows for agreement. Such a beautiful name that fits so perfectly to her beauty.
Everyones getting busy, they were sitting at the other table, she's sitting in front of me and me behind her.
'Look at me...' I said through my mind waiting for her to look at me but she's too busy chatting with her girlfriends, smiling, laughing, making funny faces.
'Just look at this way...please, just this way.'
My palms are getting sweaty, I feel so vulnerable. Bakit ngayon lang ako nahiya sa isang babae?! I badly wanted to approach her but I can't!
"Tiara!" Gren called her so she looked at us since Gren is beside me, she smiled. "Puntahan ko muna, Sane. Sama ka?" Napatingin agad ako kay Gren.
"Why would I?" I asked. "You were looking at her since she arrived. Sane ngayon lang kita nakitang nagka ganyan. Ang MVP ng company, natutuliro? Wow men! I know sanay kang mga babae ang lumalapit sayo pero ito lang masasabi ko... Huwag kang pakipot, mahirap ligawan ang mga probinsyana."
I almost choked. "Probinsyana?" hindi niya na ako sinagot, nilingo lingo niya lang ang ulo niya habang sarkastikong nakangiti, he patted me then went beside Tiara.
Holy shit, umupo pa talaga sa tabi ni Tiara. Is he testing me?
