His dark eyes pierced through my fragile ones that couldn't keep an eye contact for a second.
The world swirled around me as I stepped away, my legs shaking violently, giving away the hint that I was frightened.
"(Y-(Y/N)," his soft voice echoed gently, so gently I almost thought I was imagining his presence.
"Please, I- I can explain. I just.. Need your help."
I shook my head, not even realizing it while I stepped back, away from him. But my foot slipped over the stupid ball of Bomi and I fell backwards, unable to keep my balance.
Before I knew it, I was in Jimin's arms, inches away from the ground as he looked down at me, the sun playing beautiful shadows and lights on his face.
Wait, what??
I pushed myself away, getting up again and looking anywhere but at him. But his eyes remained laid on me.
"You- You can't just.. Come after years.. Pretending nothing wrong happened. J-Jimin, please, leave, now. Before I call the police." I tried to make my voice stable as much as I could. But it did me so little to hide my utter fear.
"(Y/N), listen." He took a step closer towards me, and I took a step back.
"I came here for a reason. I wouldn't have come if I hadn't really needed your help."
"And why me?? From all people. Why would you come to me??"
"Because... You're the only one who would forgive me, I know that."
That left me standing, snatching away all the words I had imagined I would say to this person who hurt me if I ever saw him again.
I wanted to faint, run, or call Taehyung or the police. But once I finally met his eyes with mine, I saw the tiredness, seriousness and honesty in them. He looked weak and hurt. And it hurt me back. For some reason, it really hurt me back.
Why did I care for him like that?? Even though he attacked me more than once and freaked me out, I was still feeling curious about him, knowing that there were hidden secrets behind those wide, innocent looking orbs.
So, instead of freaking out or calling for help, I freakin invited him for coffee at my freakin house.
Nice job, (Y/N).
"Well, we need to talk. If.. If you want me to help you then at least you could explain for me. How about we come in and have some coffee inside? Maybe it could help you think."
He looked up at me with his shocked, tired eyes, rings laying darkly beneath them, showing how exhausted he looked. A cup of coffee was barely enough to help him.
He gave me a small grateful smile, nodding slowly as I led him inside. And just then, I noticed how ragged and wrinkled his clothes were. And even though his body obviously grew over the years, it looked as if he recently lost weight. Even those cute cheeks he had weren't too plump now.
What has life done to him? Or was it Karma?
I mentally slapped myself, not knowing why the Hell I was checking out a boy who made my past life more miserable than it was.
"Want some cream?" I asked as I entered the kitchen after indicating for him to sit on a couch in the living room.

Taehyung's POV
Throwing my keys away at a table, I tiredly got inside my apartment after a long tiring day.
I slumped my tired body on the couch, closing my eyes as I yelled,"Honey, I'm finally Home!" A little cheerfully even though I was tired, hoping that seeing (Y/N) would help me cheer up a bit.
"Oh, hey!" She said from the bedroom inside, her light steps against the wooden floor could be heard as she got into the living room.
I opened my eyes, noticing that the room was a bit too dim.
"How was your day?" She said as she gave me a back hug, her scent invading my senses. And her hairlocks surrounded my face as she hugged me from behind the couch.
"Its better, now, thanks to you."
She broke off and smacked me Playfully,"Two years and you're still too cheesy!" Letting out a soft giggle.
"What about you? Your day seems fine? You were in a bad mood this morning." I said, looking at her as she sat beside me.
She stared at a wall for a second, her mouth partly opened. "Huh? Oh, really? I guess I was just mad because Bomi ate my toothbrush in the morning."
I scoffed,"who sleeps with their toothbrush??"
"Well, do you know how hard it is to see anything in the morning?? I keep stumbling over things to get it, including stumbling over Bomi."
I laughed hard at her and kissed her cheek, cherishing the sweet moments like this one with her. Because you never know the value of something until you lose it.
I shook that thought off, looking over at (Y/N) who was dozing off, staring into the nothingness like she usually did but with a bit concern on her face.
"(Y/N), what's wrong?"
She looked up at me,"H-huh? Oh, nothing, I was just.. Thinking what to cook for you. I was.. Out and I couldn't make anything."
I hugged her, yelling at her cuteness,"Kyyaaaaa!! You're so caring! Its okay, honey, you can make me some instant noodles," I winked at her as she rolled her eyes but with a small smile on her fine lips.
"Or we can eat out," she suggested.
I nodded,"okay, let's eat pizza! But first.." I grinned. "I need an appetizer."
Before she could think of what I possibly meant, I leaned in and kissed her soft lips. She slapped my cheek as she whispered,"Cheesy." And kissed me back.
