Prologue

"You ready?"
"Ready as i'll ever be." I said looking at my appearance in a mirror, boy-cut hair, ear piercing, grey hoodie, black sweatpants and nike free-run.
With that, we drove to my new school, Far East High. This will be home away from home.
I entered the school building and heading to the principal's office when someone tripped me, i felt flat on the ground, face first. Eruption of loud laughters came from the student body.
I quickly composed myself and look up to see who the fuck tripped me. A boy, with golden brown hair and icy blue eyes was the only one who was standing beside me and smirking.
Anger boiled up in me, I grab him by his collar and slammed him in the lockers.
"Make sure to get know who you're dealing with first." I said and punch him in stomach. Hard.
I walked away not giving him a glance because if I did, he'll end up in the school's infirmary. I'm very sure of that. I reached the principal's office who happens to be my bestfriend's mother.
"Goodmorning Mrs. Fred" I chirped
"Goodmorning Ka- Khalil." She said
"Here are your schedule for the rest of the year. I'll make sure no one will know your true name." She added while smiling warmly at me.
"Thankyou Mrs. Fred, I owe you and Thomas so much, that I don't even know how to repay you."
"Oh dear, it's nothing, just enjoy your senior year."
I left her office and went to my first class. What a great way to start my day.
