Hush

Prologue

         There has been a murderer going around the old rickety town of Easthallow. The only people who know what the murderer looks like, are the people who have been attacked. Unfortunately for us, they are now dead and unable to tell us.

         The murderer has gone around and killed a total of 13 people so far. None of which have been found with evidence. Other than the footprints on the floor leading up to the person. But that doesn't explain it, does it? No blood, no injuries, nothing to explain how they got killed. All that was left were size 8 boot footprints and smeared fingerprints. The fingerprints have been examined at every crime scene, but couldn't be identified. No one could figure any of this out, not even the officials.

         But the people of Easthallow aren't going to give up that easily. Everyone in the small gloomy and lifeless town of Easthallow were all questioning each other. Some even decided to try to leave in hopes of not being anywhere near the murderer or being the next victim. Six tried to leave but did not make it out, the murderer got to them first.

         Officials have been trying to keep everyone inside the town of Easthallow to try to avoid any more "accidents" as they called it. They try to calm the people in the town down by telling us the scientists are trying to figure things out when we all know they aren't.

         All the schools in the town are surprisingly still running. The county thinks if we all stay together we have a less chance of getting murdered. Although people were sketchy about this theory, they would still send their kids to school and go to work themselves. The only thing that is on the news and gossiped about in the school are crazy conspiracies about the murders.
