(Missi's POV)

"Duke..." I sigh, gently swaying in tight gown. It's lacing loosely covers my pale arms, and sweeps onto the floor. They resembled dropping cobwebs, hypnotically flowing against pale moonlight.
"Go to hell...again" I nervously smile trying to seem sure of myself. I prance onto the balcony. This time I would not fail in escaping. Duke, that idiot would never expect a human to scale off a 5 story balcony right? Well after 2 months of going crazy, I feel as if I have nothing to lose. I slowly took off my glossy heels and placed them at my side, propping myself up on the railing and grasping my hand on one of the many bricks sticking out from the castle. I can feel adrenaline rushing through my veins. I suppose it's now or never. I start sticking my leg off the balcony and trying to reach another tiny brick ledge. My concentration is deep and unwavering, which turns out to be a bad thing because I heard annoyed deep huffs come from behind my shoulder without warning. I'm frozen. HE GOT TO ME? NOT AGAIN!

"What are YOU doing...?" Duke said sounding angry. I swirl around, tears in my eyes slapping him with the weight of my turn.

"JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" I scream at him passing him up quickly and hoping into my bed.

"Are you really gonna do this another night Missi..." Duke said placing a hand over his eyes sounding impatient.

"IT'S YOUR FAULT FOR NOT LETTING ME GO HOME!" I yell throwing a book off my night stand in his direction, and covering my head in my heavy silk blanket.

"Missi... your gonna be able to see your parents once we are married..." Duke told me sitting at the edge of my bed.

"IM NEVER GONNA MARRY YOU" I scream rightfully so kicking him off my bed. He tensed up standing up straight.

" FINE I GUESS YOU'LL NEVER LEAVE EVER AGAIN!" Duke yelled in my direction.

" FINE!" I cry hugging my knees.

" FINE" I could hear duke say from a distance as he slammed the door.

(Dukes POV)

That damn woman! Always complaining, crying and weaseling her way out of my sight. I can't understand why I keep her around but I do. She is lucky to have someone like me...! I could have killed her by know! As soon as she brought me back from the dead I could have grabbed my cane and been over with it. I took pity on her, and decided to turn her back into a human. So I let her kick my ass, and throw me out, of course she didn't know I could find my way in. I know my castle like the back of my hand, I know every secret door, and skeleton in the closet. I finally made the potion after a week or so, and put it into a syringe. It was war time and I fought with her until I clearly won. Plopped the syringe in her neck, and wamoo back to normal. I truly don't know why I can't bring myself to kill her. I tried to talk myself into it but I couldn't, even when I hurt her trying to get her back to human I had tremendous guilt. That's very rare for a suave, handsome, cold blooded killer such as myself. I wish I could let her go she's hell to live with, but she knows way to much. If I did that it would be a legal nightmare in the underworld. Best opinion if I can't kill her well marry her! Of course it isn't easy...

(3rd POV)
Missi leaned against the door and thought to herself about the situation. Why couldn't  she just be in a twilight story instead. Duke would look 20 and sparkle and wouldn't be a perverted, creepy, lonely, sad excuse for a vampire. She hugged her legs and looked outside at the falling snow. It was simply freezing. She opened her door not even daring to look at Duke and walked down the stares. If she was going to stay here she would own the place. She crawled into dukes room and scaled onto his huge bed. It was always warm in here with a roasting fire and huge wool blankets. She got under the covers and hugged a pillow. Duke followed shortly after with shock. Maybe she was finally coming around and hit a wall or realization. He had always kept his room warm hoping she would come in, and it worked.

"Hello Missi" Duke Smiled hopefully laying down next to the sleepy, teary eyed woman. Missi instantly pushed him off the bed and pointed to the door.

"Sleep on the couch" Missi calmly stated.

"Haha... I don't think you understand this is my house..." Duke laughed crossing his arms.

"And I'm your "future wife" sleep on the couch!" Missi yelled sadly turning over not the face him.

" Someone's getting brave..." Duke crosses his arms annoyed. Missi thought for a second her brain birthing a new idea. She turned around.

"I'm done being afraid Duke, if you wanna keep me here fine. But by the end of the month you'll be begging me to go away..." Missi said her face now more confident.

"Is that a challenge?" Duke Smiled evily.

"Yes" Missi said stumbling on her words. What had she just done.
