Today was the day! I woke up, got dressed, closed my suit case and headed to the airport with dad.
We were heading to Wales because of dad's business. We had a very long trip ahead of us so I put my laptop, tablet, camera, my phone and my favourite book, fault in our stars in my carry-on bag and ready to go!
When we arrived at the airport we waited half an hour for the plane to arrive. When it was time, we passed through the metal detector and we boarded the plane.
When we were seated I took off my jacket and talked to dad for a while. You might be thinking, where is your mum? Well she died a few years back when I was 7 because of breast cancer. All my father could talk about was about her. Her smile, her laugh and how beautiful she was. My father says I remind him of her. I do not mind him talking about her as I listen to him telling funny adventures they had together. I miss mum. She was fun and beautiful. She was the best mum anyone could dream of.
The pilot grabbed our attention as we were going to take off. We put on our seatbelts and the flight attendant gave us instructions in case of an emergency. BORING. I boarded a plane 7 times and I already knew how to use the stuff. Until the take-off I couldn't use any of the electronics which was a bummer.
After a few minutes, we could take off our seatbelts and use our electronics. I had already put a lot of money in my phone so I can use the internet. I turned on the internet and chatted with my friends for some while. Then I turned off my phone and grabbed my tablet and watched 'Pretty Little Liars' and 'Marley and Me'. At some point my father joined me as he was bored of working on his laptop and decided to watch 'Marley and Me'. We cried pools of tears and I was surprised as dad never usually cries, like ever.
After we watched the movie, I decided to start reading my book. After some time I slept.
I woke up to the thud that the airplane made as he landed. Then the flight attendants showed us the way out and then we were heading towards the belt to get our luggage. We waited quiet sometime before the luggage arrived. When we collected our luggage, we went outside to get a cab and he drove us to our new home.
