Step Parents

God calls us to respect our elders, parents, and any one in authority. When you get older, or maybe you already are, and get a job. Are you going to be rude to your boss and aay rude things? The correct answer would be no, maybe your different but you have to be careful how you talk to people. I understand that it is hard. My stepmom treats the you her two differently then she treats use older kids. But she doesn't even realize that she does it. She is an amazing women, and without her, I would not be where I am today. I love her, but she annoys me sometimes. But just cause I get mad at her does not mean that I lash and am rude to her. You have to respect your step parents no matter what. They may annoy you and you may be mad that you mom or dad remarried, but chances are that they only want what is best for you. So maybe next time, you should think, what would Jesus say about this. Don't ever forget that Jesus felt every single one of your sins up on that cross. Thinking it is bad enough, but if you do t say it and you train your mind, maybe one day you won't think those mean unrespectful thoughts.
