MISCHIEVOUS SURAJ

"SURAJJJ!"

Tejaswini who was busy in the kitchen came out to see who it was. "Vivaan beta..When did you come back from lucknow?"

"Just now aunty..where is Suraj?"asking that, without waiting for answer " Surajjjj!" vivaan started to search where suraj is hiding.

"Vivaan...Suraj is not here. He is sleeping in his room.I tried a lot. Now you go and wake your best friend up."

"What?!I did tell Suraj.. He must have forgotten that I'm returning today" Vivaan replied to Tejaswini with a sad face.

"Er..Vivaan beta.." Tejaswini saw vivaan's face. He is in the verge of crying. On deciding what to do,Tejaswini told him "Beta..Go and get him now. We..I will scold him in front of you. So that he will never do this mistake again. Go now.."

"okay aunty.. I'll wake him up. But.. but don't scold him aunty. He might feel bad. Maybe..he was so excited yesterday and slept so late. so that he could'nt wake up early" after getting assured about tejaswini not scolding suraj, Vivaan run up to his best friend's room.

"Surajjj.." Suraj? his eyes roamed all around the room..where is suraj? suraj is not in bed..

"Booh" just then from nowhere, suraj came out only to scare vivaan. Scared vivaan started to chase suraj. "Suraj.. Today I'm really gonna eat you." It's their way of showing anger.

Suraj ran out off his room to kitchen while shouting,"Arre Mummy! Save me from this hungry cheetah." Suraj hided behind his mother.

"Aunty! Today I'm not going to leave him. First thing He forgot that I'm coming back today. And then He also scared me with his bhoot face."

"what?! bhoot..That too my handsome face!.. well.. I can make a call for doctor's appointment. Seriously you need to check it bhaii.. either eye hospital or mental..." Suraj started to laugh without finishing the sentence.

"stop it, Suraj." Tejaswini said in the stern voice and turned towards vivaan who is clearly not happy with the way suraj was behaving. Suraj stopped laughing and silently went to the kitchen.

"Vivaan.. Leave that suraj. Now tell your aunty what did you do in lucknow all the time ? did you enjoy a lot?" Tejaswini asked him to cheer up his mood.

"Yes aunty.. I went to a lot of places. But it's not fun without suraj. Okay aunty.. now I'll go. Maa will be waiting for me." Vivaan started to leave with a sad pout when suraj came out of kitchen.

"Arrey Bhuddhu..Before you go, atleast tell me.. eye hospital or mental hospital?"

"Sur.."Vivaan turned furiously towards suraj only to be stuffed with gulab jamun in his mouth. "How was that?" Suraj asked him with a smile.

"Suraj..It's amazing. My favourite..Wow.. so tasty." Vivaan started eating one after another, totally forgetting his angry phase. "Suraj? when did you prepare all this?" Tejaswini asked him with questioning look. "Haan suraj..Aunty told me that you were sleeping all the time. " They already knew that Suraj made these. Suraj always likes to cook. And at this age of 10 itself, he almost cooks all the favourite food of his family members and his best friend, Vivaan.

"Offo.. I woke up very early.I prepared these." Suraj then pretended to remove his sweat drops from his forehead and continued with a sigh "And then I went to sleep ,just when mummy started her torture to get me out of my bed."

"Dramaqueen." Saying that, Tejaswini moved towards kitchen to restart the breakfast preparation. Just then, It striked her.

"Haan Suraj..where did you kept that gulab jamun bowl? I did'nt saw that bowl in my kitchen when I was here."

"Naah.. that's a secret that nobody can find out unless..."

"Suraj beta..won't you tell your mother?" Suraj smiled mischievously. He knows that His mummy can't keep up without knowing secrets.

"okay Mummy..I'll tell you... If you allow me to cook whenever I want"

"noway..Aunty will never do this." Vivaan told Suraj after finishing all the gulab jamuns.

"Not now." Suraj responded to him in the low tone.

"Okay..I'll let you cook." Tejaswini said in the defeated tone. Vivaan at shock while Suraj was on cloud nine. He can't grin anymore. Then..

"That was in cupboard."

"Huh?!"

"Mummy that gulab jamun bowl was in cupboard"

"what?Suraj.. But You told me Nobody could found out?" Tejaswini asked him.

"Haan Mummy..I told you that was a secret that nobody could found out..unless.." Suraj with his mischievous smile continued, "UNLESS somebody opened the cupboard. Right nah Vivaan?"

Vivaan laughed out. "This Suraj.." Tejaswini furiously looked at Suraj who was also laughing with his friend, but she could'nt be angry with his "badmaash" son...Who can get angry at Cute Suraj.. Tejaswini smiled and finally went to kitchen... to prepare breakfast.

P.S. I hope you enjoy this naughty suraj, crybaby vivaan and Tejaswini.. I did'nt give any character sketch, Because I, myself did'nt know what I'm going to do with this kahaani.
