CHAKOR'S ANSWER TO SURAJ'S QUESTION

Suraj returned home at the time of dinner. He immediately went to the room to fresh up. After some time, Suraj came down for dinner.All of them were seated in their respective positions. Pakhi impatiently signalled him. Suraj smiled at her who held the seat for him at the dining table.   

Pakhi poked Suraj slowly and whispered, "Suraj bhaiyya..Do you always come this late?"

"Haan baba..My Job timings are like that. But Why are you calling me as Suraj bhaiyya instead of Phupha?"

"Because of me, Dadu scold you nah?" Pakhi looked down guiltily and continued, "So I decide not to call you as Phupha." 

"Hey Sweetheart...It's not because of you. It's just.. Don't you see any saas-bahu serial? Saas and bahu will always fight with each other like this...like Tom and Jerry. Here in this house, there is no Saas- Bahu..Only Sasur-Damaad.. Your Dadu and me.." Suraj looked at Pakhi who was clearly not happy about the rivalry between her Dadu and Phupha. Suraj didn't want her to be sad over this issue, "But Sweetheart..You just see.. In the end, we will become BFF.."

"BFF?" Pakhi looked at Suraj confused.

"Haan.. Best Friends forever! Dekh naah Chutki..Your Hitler Dadu and Your Handsome Phupha's Friendship will be Pakka.." Pakhi giggled at his remarks, while Suraj too smiled on seeing her happy face. 

After finished the dinner, Chakor and her father went to his study room to discuss about the Company project they were working on.

By the time Chakor returned to the room, Suraj was sleeping soundly. Chakor then went to washroom. After a while, She came back and saw Suraj awake, sitting in his couch with deep thoughts. Suraj turned towards Chakor who sat on the bed, leaning on the headrest.

"Chakor.."

"Haan Suraj"

"I told you nah..I want to talk about something. Do you have time now?"

"Yes..Tell me what do you want to talk.." 

"Why did you accept me? I mean.. Why did you accept our marriage infront of everyone?" Suraj asked Chakor sincerely.

"Do you want me not to accept this marriage? Do you want me to kick you out off this house?" Chakor looked at Suraj directly and questioned him in return.

Suraj nodded negatively, "No.I'm just asking..Why didn't you react to me when I.." Suraj was quiet for a moment. Suraj wondered why he didn't want her to see him in the bad light..when He showed himself as a bad person to this whole world..It didn't even bother this much when my parents looked at me in disgust..But in her heart, I want to be a better person...

Chakor looked on. She can see the hurt which was well hidden inside his eyes. She can't interpret it why. Maybe he is remembering how he married her without her consent.. Maybe he is feeling guilty...Maybe he is regretting their marriage.. But for some unknown reason, I don't want him to feel bad about himself ..I don't want him to feel guilty about what he had done.. I don't want him to regret...

Suraj continued, "Chakor..I'm Sorry that I'm asking you this now. I didn't think of your consent at the time of marriage. I was selfish at that time. But now..I.." Suraj gulped and continued," Aren't you angry with me like your father because of me...you can't marry Vivaan?  It's your life after all." Suraj couldn't see her eyes. I know that She didn't accept me as her husband..But I don't think I can live with the fact..Chakor in love with another person...What if I  wronged her? What if I ruined her life by marrying her?  

Chakor looked at Suraj in concern. He is not faking it...He cares for her a little. He is not as greedy as he show himself to be..

Chakor with determined face replied, "Yes Suraj..You are correct. It's my life after all..But do you really think I want to marry Vivaan? Nah..I don't. So You don't have to feel guilty about separating two lovebirds which we are not. And as for my Dad, It doesn't matter whether It's Vivaan or Suraj.. all that matters is whether It's Rich Bhatia or Poor Rajvanshi. Sorry If I offended y.." 

Suraj cut off in the middle, "So You mean.." Suraj looked at Chakor and continued, "For your father..It's nothing but a business deal. And for me..It's all about money. But What about you? Why are you staying in this marriage even after knowing that you won't get anything in return?"

Chakor didn't say anything for a moment,then.."Tomorrow I have to wake up early. Good night, Suraj."  

Suraj gazed at her and nodded,"Good night." They both knew that they didn't have an answer to that question.

Chakor was thinking.. I don't know... I don't know why I don't want to hear anything against you.. I don't know why I don't want to make you sad.. I don't know Suraj ...I don't know why I decided to hold you while I'm trying to let myself  free out of my own Family... I don't know why but..I lost my trust long ago and Now I can see my trust in you even when the whole world is warning me that You are not the right one...I trust you Suraj even when you did everything for..  

Chakor closed her eyes and tried to shut everything out. Meanwhile..

Suraj remembered how Chakor stood up for him against her father..He remembered how She looked at him with concern when he was feeling bad a while ago. Suraj smiled a little. Chakor..I already realized that You didn't even know why you had decided to be in this relationship...But  Chakor! Trust me...I will make sure that One day You will get your reason to be Mrs.Suraj Rajvanshi... 

P.S. Guys! Let me clear this.. Suraj is the guy who values Marriage. Though Suraj married Chakor for the sake of Vimli, He decided to do everything to make this marriage work. In case of Chakor, She has her own issues which don't let her to trust anyone...even her own family. The whole world warning her that Suraj isn't the right one... But She can see the sincerity in his eyes which didn't allow her to let him go. In conclusion, they are not even close to any love confession. There is a long way to go..
