Kara Pov

I was in my room, listening to music on my phone when I heard something from the room next to me.

I stood up and walked in my brothers room. "What the hell are you doing!?!" I yelled softly so mum can't hear me.

This is my life. My name is Kara Barnes. I'm 18 years old and I live with my annoying little brother and my mum and dad. I live yes, here in Bradford and go to the most worst highschool called Anderson Cret Highschool. I'm not that popular. I only have 2 wonderful friends that I'm fine with. Ally and Gina. You see, I'm not into "girly" stuff like makeup, clothes, shoes, and whatnot. People say I'm a tomboy. Which is true, am I. But my friends are, as you say, "girly girls". So I have to keep up with them everyday. Yup, my life right there.

"I'm playing with this big sworn and trying to hit the monster in the wall" Cody whined as he hits the wall harder.

"No! Don't hit the wall or mum is going to kill you!"

Then mum comes in. Shit.

"What's going on here?"

It was quiet. We were waiting for someone to speak. No one did. I just went for it.

"Mum, I was in my room and then I hear sounds so I went in here and saw that Cody was hitting the wall with this "sworn" thingy." I said calmly.

"Well, Is this true young man?"

"Yes."

"No video games for a month."

"But mum-"

"No buts!" she says while walking away. I walk in my room as well. I'm still quiet for some reason.

My phone buzzed.

From Ally:

Hey girl! We are going to the beach this weekend, wanna join? :)

To Ally:

Sure! Why not? I think I need fresh air anyways.

From Ally:

Kk. See ya later!

Ughh. Why is it Thrusday. I hate it.

As time passed I toke a shower, changed, and went to bed.

All I can think about is him.
