Chapter 9

Previously on O Positive

I clapped my hands together and said "So what's the deal ?"

I sat in the middle of the two couches with my  hand under my chin waiting for a response.

Kas, or should I say Kassidy stood up towering over me and said "The deal is that we kill the Valdas and you stay out of the damn way."

I now stood up and said "I'm not staying out of the damn way if I'm involved in this."

He scoffed and said "Oh really... Do you even know what the Valdas are capable of? What they could do to every species within the hidden world if they get you?!"

I looked away  and he chuckled.

He then said " I didn't think so. You think you're so high and mighty because you're the only living hybrid. The truth is you're nothing and will always be nothing. Just a speck of dust that needs to be blown away. A pathetic human."

I looked at him now and he had a stupid smirk plastered on his face. I looked at Cole and Kendall. Cole kept tightening his fists. Kendall tightened his jaw. I looked at Cole and he connected with me in my head. 

He said " Would you like me to beat his ass now or later?"

" As much as I would love to see that, we both know who would win that fight. He's an alpha for crying out loud. Just drop it."

" Fine but he'll get his ass beat next time."

I cut off the connection with an eye roll. I cant deny the fact that what Kas said did hurt. I have and always think of myself as nothing. Him reminding me of this doesnt help either. I look at Kas and just smiled. I turn around and walk away to my room. As soon as I close the door, I punch a hole in the wall. I held in my scream of pain and burst out crying. I covered my mouth with the sleeves of my hoodie to muffle my cries. Why did Kas have to be almost completely right? 

After I calmed down I stood up  and opened my door. I slowly made my way downstairs to get food. I was pretty hungry. Then again, I'm always hungry so that doesn't really count. I was making my way to the kitchen and I turned towards the living room. I tried not making eye contact with anyone but I looked up. I saw anger in Cole and Kendall's eyes. When I looked at Kas though, he had a smirk on his face but his eyes were blank holding no emotion.

Why in the hell would I even think that Kas would have a conscious?!  I laughed to myself and made my way towards the fridge. I opened it and made myself an awesome sandwich. With more apple juice of course. I stood in the kitchen undisturbed eating my sandwich and drinking my apple juice.

When I was done, I put my dishes in the sink and washed my hands. I turned around to go back to my room when I saw Kas.

I immediately roll my eyes. This only makes Kas laugh and he says "Aww is someone done throwing a tantrum? "

I scoff and say "I wasn't throwing a tantrum."

He rolls his eyes and says "Oh really??? I could hear the sheetrock break from down here."

I pushed past him and said "Whatever Kas. The only reason you're acting like tough shit is because Alex and Brad aren't here." 

" I told Alex to stay out of this situation and Brad's dead."

I shut up immediately. I thought I only injured him. I didnt mean to kill him.

" Yeah, he's dead and you killed him."

I walked past Kas and made my way into the living room. Kas' goons still here. I sat on the floor next to Cole. The floor is pretty comfortable. Kas slowly walked in afterwards and sat on the couch opposite from us.

Cole said " What's the deal with you breaking into my house Kassidy. "

He tightened his jaw, looked at me and said " Does she have to be in the room for this conversation? "

"Yes this is about her isn't it?"

Kas sighed and looked to me. What he said next made me freeze with fright..

"Ravisha knows she's here. She'll be coming soon and you need my help."
