After being back for only some seconds, the pressure on me grew again. Bruno hurried me around. From table to table my nerves got thinner until the ripped apart.
''I think you should work the counter for the rest of the day.''
More annoying costumers was exactly what I needed right now. Whilst preparing myself for the horrific next hours, I could hear screams from outside. Activating my fight or flight mode, I was prepared to hide behind the counter. But before I could embarrass myself, Mattheo gave me a knowing look.
''some boyband is in town, first-ever Europe tour.''
I laughed a little before I could hear the bell above the door. Some figures ran inside, past me and directly into the kitchen. I quickly jumped after them, ready to kick them out.
''And what the hell do you think you's doin'-.. Jonah?'' ''Y/n?''
He slowly got up from his hiding position on the ground and stood in front of me with an awkward smile. ''told you we'll meet again.'' I couldn't help but laugh a litte. ''What are you's doing hiding inside this crappy kitchen if I may ask?''
Now all of the boys slowly got up, looking around to see if anyone followed them.
''Long story.'' ''over a coffee?''
He nodded and the group followed after me, out of the kitchen towards a table in the back of the shop.
I heard some whispers from the people around me, but ignored them. After showing them their table I had the first chance to properly take a look at all of them. But before I was able to take in the next appearence, a pair of blue eyes caught mine. He gave me a bright smile, showing an adorable toothgap.
''Hi, I'm Daniel.''
''Y/n.''
I stood there for a few seconds just staring at the boy. The voices of the other boys interducing themself drowned out.
''And you know me already.''
They all laughed which took me out of my staring back into my job life. ''Alright. So, can I get you guys anything to drink?''
Everyone but Daniel answered. ''Is it cliché if I order a tea?''
I gave him a laugh at his shy question. ''You do you mate. But I would't mind a tea.''
He gave me a smile and I left them to prepare their drinks. ''Shouldn't you be behind the counter?'' Mattheo leaned over the counter and gave me a smirk. ''Ok I give it to you, they're hot.'' I laughed at him and nodded whilst looking over to see Daniel scrolling trough his phone, just a little later I could feel my phone vibrating.
danielseavey started following you
After looking up from my phone I saw him staring at me. I smiled to myself and I got back to the drinks. ''Could you take the counter Matt..?'' He smiled and nodded before pushing me towards the group. ''You owe me big time, Y/n.''
Giving him a quick nod, I made my way to the table the boys were sitting at. ''Black coffee, coffee with cream, water, coke and the tea.'' They thanked me before Zach moved a little on the bank he was sitting on, patting on the small space. I sat next to him and smiled thankfully.
''So how do you know Jonah?''
Jack looked at the two of us. ''He actually ruined a perfectly made muffin. And coffee. So I made him come here and repay me by leaving a nice tip'' Jonah laughed at my answer and shook his head. ''I ran into her earlier today.''
''but you're still leaving that tip, right?'' I joked and got up from the seat. ''Of course.''
''your total would be 27.65''
Jonah gave me 50 pounds and smiled. ''Keep the change.'' ''You know I was joking about the tip!?'' He just shrugged and looked at the boys putting on their jackets. ''I'll see you around?'' I smiled. ''Sure thing, Daniel already found my Insta.'' Jonahs face dropped for a moment but not long enough for me to notice.
''Bye boys.''
They gave me a wave and left the shop just for me to be left with a smile on my face.
I took out my phone and looked at daniels profile, hoping to see his eyes again. But before I was able to look at him, I saw his followers. They were in the millions. My face dropped and so did my phone.
Why don't we.
