"No Emma put it down!"I screech her name across the hall, fully knowing that my parents and my very annoying big brother are asleep, and can probably hear every word we say.
"No c'mon Zara. Have some fun once in a while."Emma calmly gives back my favorite make up set, that I have been too aprensive to even try the product. Rounding around £300, that make up set was my life. Not that I wore it. Emma wears a smirk as I carefully place the expensive set back in its place.Time flies as we talk about boys and our current relationship with them. I, currently, am not in a relationship. Nor have I been since Year 7. Currently 16, I am, somehow, falling behind on the 'Teenage lifestyle'. Many magazines suggest that I may be the 'socially awkward' type, but I am totally capable of starting a conversation. Let's say I had to talk to a famous celebrity, I would start a conversation and not stop until the subject has been throughly discussed. The only flaw in my genetics are my features. My pinched nose gives the impression that I'm always holding in a fart. My squashed eyes hold the impression my mom gives me when I'm in trouble. Big trouble. Most of my 'features' come from my dad, the same one who couldn't stand to look at me. So he left. Emma always encourages me to forget the past and control what I can control.
