Swords clashing as Kirito and HeathCliffs battle continued.

(Kirito's POV)

Faster, faster I've gotta go faster Kirito thought as he kept slashing, waiting for the perfect chance to strike the finishing blow. After what seemed like hours Kirito saw the perfect opportunity to strike with his Dark Repulsor, with all his force his charged with Dark Repulsor only to be met by HeathCliff's shield. The impact caused Kirito's Dark Repulsor to break leaving Kirito shocked and vulnerable.

"Goodbye Kirito" that's all Kirito heard as he closed his eyes. Im sorry Asuna keep living, he thought as he opened his eyes only for his heart to be shattered to pieces, Asuna had jumped infront of him taking the slash which drained the last of her HP, I then caught her in my arms tears sliping from my eyes, all i could think of saying was "You-your kidding". As she started fading away she said to me "Im sorry Kirito, I love you" and with that she was gone only leaving behind her Rapier.

(Asuna's POV)

I may have been scared to die, but I wont let HeathCliff kill my Kirito I promised him id protect him no matter what. I then somehow broke my paralasis and jumped infront of HeathCliffs slash shiuelding Kirito from the blow, in that moment I thought about all the memories I had with Kirito and tears started to shed from my eyes as I landed in Kiritos arms. All Kirito could say was "You-your kidding", I looked at him and said "Im sorry Kirito, I love you" before fading away from the virtual and real world forever.

(Third person POV)

Kirito broken as he was now losing Asuna swung his Elucidator with no energy or hope, Heathliff then hit Kiritos Elucidator out of his hand and impaled Kirito with his sword. Kirito's HP dorping quickly but stopping on one, Kirito then looked up and said "not yet" before stepping forward and thrusting Asuna's Rapier threw HeathCliff clearing the game, causing every remaining player to  be logged out and sent back to the real world.

Once Kirito woke up he was frail and weak, then Kirito's sister Suguha came in the room and hugged him saying "I was so worried about you Kazuto, as soon as i heard you were awake I rushed here to see you". Kazuto smiled at his Sister but still couldn't help but feel broken and batter about what happened to Asuna, Kirito hoped that it was all a dream and that Asuna was alive and well but sadly that wasn't the case.

(Three month's later)                              (Kirito's POV)

I had finally got back my strength and was able to leave the hospital, in the last three month's I have grown really depressed and distant from all my friends. I felt like I failed them and especially her, Asuna.. I missed her so much and it was all my fault she was dead, it was my fault I wasnt strong enough to protect her. 

(The next day)

Suguha had asked me to try this VRMMO called ALO (Alphiem Online) I told her I would but the more I think about it the less I want to I still feel responsible for what happened to Asuna and I dont know if im ready for another VRMMO, but Suguha made me promise so here goes. I grabbed my Nerv Gear and laid down on my bed "Link start" i say then I appear at the character select, I chose to be a Spriggan because they wore black and that was my style. Once I loaded in I was met by my sister's avatar Leafa. "Come on slowpoke i want you to meet someone" she said to me, I then thought who does she want me to met?                                                                                          -----------------------------------------------------------Authors Note - So I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of Ignite, also I wonder who Suguha wants Kirito to meet? wait I already know but you will all have to wait to find out mwahahahah also see you all next time on Ignite.
