Chapter 3: The Text

Elaina p.o.v

     He came out after me. Why, I don't no and dont really care. As I stood there looking at him I looked into his eyes and seen something I have never seen before in a guy. I finally stopped yelling at him and listened to what he had to say. He want me to take the money and I refused, because I believe that money is something you have to work hard for and taking it just felt wrong even tho he spilt coffee all over me.

After about 10 minutes standing there arguing I finally gave in. We walked to this clothing store down the street and he gave me his card and stayed outside. It's like he could trust me or something. I grabbed the card and slid it in the my back right pocket of my shorts. Carlie and me both grabbed hands and skipped into the store laughing at ourselves. We are just a bunch of goofs. That's probably why we have such a strong friendship.

" Hey they're really cute, I think I just might ask for his number." I say while looking at the shirts on the rack in front of me. Carlie just looked at me and smiled saying go for it. I just might get it and play it off like he owes me dinter or something.

I found a shirt and payed for it at the desk and walked to the bathroom and change. I started to smell and everyone was also looking at me odd. Probably because the big dark stain from the coffee. I changed and toasted the now tan crop top in the trash. Carlie followed me out the door. Standing there in front him, it was like the world did not exist. His smile could light up the world on a dark gloomy day. His hair looked like something I could run my fingers through all day.

I gave him his card back and asked him. "Can I might get your number?" I asked him. I can't believe it I really asked him if I could get his number. I was shook at myself. He stood there staring at me with a blank face. He looked at his friend and looked back at me. " Under one condushion, no sexting, no sex, and no family get togethers." he said. "Agreed." I smiled and he wrote down his number on the receipt from Starbucks he got. I smiled " Thank You". I turned around and started to walk off. Then I immediately turned around " My name is, Elaina and this is my best friend Carlie." He looked at me and laughed "Ethan, and this is my twin brother Grayson" he said and turned around and started walking back the why we came. "Wow, twin, I thought that was his friend" I laughed out loud looking at Carlie.

We arrived at Carlie's place about 30 minutes after we said our goodbyes. I could not get Ethan out of my mind tho. I really wanted to see him again. I get out my phone and put in his number. I hesitated for hours debating if I should text him or not. Maybe just text hey or something but nothing sounded good enough.

Grayson p.o.v

     I watched my brother walk home. He looked different. His vibe was different. He seemed happier. He smiled all the way back home. He did not fight with me on anything. What I said he did. I am happy for him but I just hope he does not get his hopes up or does not mess up things, but for now at least I can say that I'm truly happy for him.

Ethan sat around the phone all day waiting for a text from Elaina. Hours and more hours past. He finally give up waiting for it and sat down his phone and went to take a shower, with his head hanging low and a frown on his face. I felt bad for him but hell he did spill coffee all over the poor girl even if it was an accident and he bought her a shirt after words. I went to the editing room and then I heard it. The sound of a vibrating phone. I walk the the purple couch and look down and I was amazed to see it, and I knew everything was about to change.

Ethan p.o.v

     Wow! Elaina, she's one of a kind. She is beautiful, amazing and she has spunk with a side of fire. I think that is what is drawing me to her. Walking home, I couldn't get her out of my head, but I knew if I wanted to make this work we need time and get to know each other and not have sex on the first date. I walk into the warehouse and go sit down and get my phone out. I was waiting for the text from Elaina and waiting and waiting and more waiting to the point were I almost fell asleep. I tried to wake myself up by getting on instagram and snapchat and twitter, but now I believe she'll never text. I turn off my phone and sit it down on the long purple couch. I get up and take one last glance at my phone, then put my head down with a million thoughts running through my head. I begin to walk up stairs to go take a shower. I don't look but I feel Gray just looking at me. I think he can feel that I am upset, well hell I might just look it. I drag myself to turn on the water and I watch as the water and drift of in to my imagines.

"I love you, Will You Marry Me?" I get down one one knee and watch her smile and say yes. I knew this was just the beginning of our life together.

I watch the kids grow and laugh. I watch my wife cook and love me, and we die together holding hands like what we did on are first date and my last word will be forever and always, you and trust me, I'll never let go. I love you.

I step out and dry off and tie the yellow towel around my waist and head down stairs and head straight to my phone I think I was probably running to get there faster. I pick up my phone and turn it around to she her name. My heart stopped and I think I lost my breath. I could hear nothing around me other than the beating heart pounding fast to the beat of love. "NO. Ethan. Take your time, relax and do not get carried away all she is is just a girl. Well one hell of a fine girl that I wanted to call mine." What should I say? " Omg, whats up!!" no, that's to laim. "Hey. I am really sorry again for what happened." no, that's not a good thing to say. To remind her of what happened earlier. I want her to like me not dislike me. Oh no. What was I going to say?
