Chapter 1: An Average Day

Before I start the chapter, I wanted to warn you so as you're not confuzzled, In the beginning with your brother since he knows you're a girl, he calls you by 'she' around the house but only when it's just you bc your parents aren't around for... reasons... which you'll find out about later. Anyway here's the chapter(╭☞◉∀◉)╭☞

Everyday Y/N wakes up at 6:30 am, gets dressed in her school uniform. She then goes downstairs and eats the beautiful breakfast her brother prepares for her. This particular morning, Y/N's brother Yuu had made delicious pancakes drowned in syrup with  the not yet melted square of butter sitting on top.  As soon as she touched the chair with her back side, she dug right in with her fork and knife. 

"Wow, you're a bit feisty this morning arntcha'?" Yuu asked his imouto(lil sis if you didn't know)

"All because of your cooking Onii-chan(big brother)!" she replied with a friendly smile.

Yuu covers his nose immediately averting his eyes from his dear sister(mmm whatcha sayyy- if you get me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)). He coughs a bit before Y/N smirks at him. 

"Well now Yuu, you don't swing that way do you? If you do, I might just have to save up some money and move out!" she said teasingly with a small wink. 

The boy jumped out of his chair and walked behind Y/N while saying, "I guess I'll have to swing that way if you keep being this cute!" before tickling her.

"STAP YUU!!!! YOU'RE MAKING ME FEEL ALL TINGLY!" the young girl screamed at her brother while giggling hysterically. After a couple more seconds of this, she said calmly, "Okay just let me eat the rest of my delectable breakfast so I can get to school!" 

Y/N devours the rest of her meal before jumping up, putting her dishes in the sink, and grabbing her bookbag from the couch in her living room. She threw her shoes on, grabbed her house key and ran out the door after waving to her brother.

"Bye Yuu! I'll be back later!"

-I'm now gonna be referring to Y/N as a boy since now everyone thinks of Y/N as a guy so yah-

Once she got outside she took her phone out of her bag, plugged in her headphones and started playing (Favorite/Song).

While Y/N was walking she closed her eyes seeing as there were no roads to cross. Almost immediately, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned her head to the boy beside her and rolled her eyes annoyed. She took her headphones off after pausing the song. 

"Seriously Assano(ass intended XD)? I was trying to listen to my favorite song! You ruined it boke."

The boy put on a "hurt" face, turned back to the "boy" and acted offended, "Come on Y/N, you know I have good intentions! I just wanted to walk with a bestie!!!"("a moment of silence for this mayn"-pewdiepie) Asano said with a kind smile at the end.

"Well then too bad for you, I'm leaving." Y/N said with a cold tone and icy glare.

"You're so mean!!! Why can't I hang out with my favorite person?" the grape-eyed orange said with a whine.

"Because I don't want to hang out with you for one, and for two, I would like to listen to my music in peace." Y/N said turning back around to continue walking.

"Well then too bad I'm staying to at least walk with you." Asano mumbled and caught up to Y/N but let him listen to his precious music.

The walk was quiet from then on but Asano felt that he wanted to hold Y/N's hand for some reason and blushed at the thought but was confused by why so he decided not to. The rest of the time until the boys got to Kunugigaoka, was peaceful and once they reached the gates, Y/N took off his headphones and put them back in his bag. Y/N and Asano continued to walk all the way to 3-A together. When they finally arrived they went to their lockers(which were next to each others) and dropped off their unneeded books.

"Stand."

"Bow."

"Greet."

The class did each of these and sat back down. Asano tapped Y/N's shoulder from next to him. Y/N glanced over "cutely"(to Assano) and said, "What's up Asano-kun?"

Asano had blood dripping from his nose when he replied with a muffled, "Do you know the answer to number 3?"

"U-um yeah it's 54, but in case you didn't notice, your nose is bleeding..."he pointed out(Y/N doesn't understand only because he isn't used to boys being somewhat attracted to his masculine presentation, just if you were wondering since he wasn't as oblivious around his brother).

"Oh right that's n-nothing, but thanks! And how exactly did you get that? I'm looking through my math and I don't see where I went wrong," Asano responded, wiping the red liquid from his nose before looking back through his work on the paper in front of him.

"Well since the Order of Operations states that the part of the equation in grouping symbols, you solve first so you would have to solve 3 times 3. Does that help you with most of it?" Y/N explained.

"Yeah it really does! Thanks Y/N-chan! I think I got the rest from here!" the carrot-top replied with a small close-eyed smile.

"I-I'm g-glad you understand it now. U-um-" the bell cut the boy off before he could finish. 

While Asano was gathering his books, he asked Y/N, "What were you going to say before the period bell rang?"

"N-nothing, nevermind. Let's just get to 2nd period."

"Oh, no why are you stuttering?" Asano smugly replied with a sly smirk.

"N-no reason! Let's just go please!"

After a couple of classes, Y/N finally plucked up the courage to ask Asano what he wanted to before.

"A-A-Asano?"

"Yes handsome?"

'Dammit he's making it harder!'  "Um would you like to maybe hang out later?

Asano cheeks burned bright red and he managed to stammer out, "S-s-sure!"

"Okay then, after class!" Y/N responded with a wink and a smile.

Okay so I know you must be thinking that this is an Assano x Reader but it's not I just felt like adding the slight bit of leading up to Karma's appearance. Also Karma's appearance will be in the next chapter!!! 

P.S. i really need to stop with all the comments in bold -_-;
