I would always ask you to do it
when I tried to sleep
you never could though
you couldn't do a lot of things
you couldn't be honest
or communicate
or keep your promises
but you did always tell me
you couldn't tell me a story
with a happy ending
and well, in the end, you provided a story
with a plot twist
well close enough
