He stood in front of Jackson's door. It was three in the morning and he had decided that it was time that he talked to his boyfriend.
Soon to be ex, actually.
Opening the door, he saw that Mark was actually getting his shoes on with his jacket on and wallet in his hands.
"Mark hyung?" Jinyoung whispered, "What are you doing?"
He sent him a smile and replied, "I have someone I want to see. I won't be gone long but whatever it is that's going on between you and Jackson, do everyone a favor and fix it while I'm gone."
And with those words, Mark walked past Jinyoung as he thanked him with a stunned face, standing in a dark room with Jackson sleeping not so soundly on the bed closest to the window.
"Jackson?" Jinyoung asked, his voice hoarse already. It was going to start cracking soon if he wasn't careful.
Jackson stirred and groaned, looking towards the doorway as Jinyoung fully walked in and closed the door behind him.
"We...um...we need to talk."
The boy stared at him with a blank expression before turning to the side and replying, "Talk to Jaebum then. I have sleep to catch before our flight tomorrow."
Jinyoung took a breath and released a sigh, walking over to Jackson and sitting on the edge of his bed. He looked at his hands and bit his lip to hold back tears.
"It's not something that I can talk to Jaebum about," Jinyoung said quietly, "I...we should break up."
Jackson's heartbeat stopped. He didn't want to believe it, the words that had just been said, he wanted to throw something at the wall. He wanted to kick and scream and shout out of frustration, throw a tantrum like a toddler, anything to make Jinyoung stay.
He didn't know how he would do it but he would swallow his jealousy for him. Really, he thinks he could.
The boy turned fully to face Jinyoung. There was nothing that was on his face, he had gone blank like he had shut down.
"What?" Jackson asked, his heart still frozen in his chest.
"I think we should break up."
After several moments of Jackson's silence and the lack of beating in his heart, everything started to move again. But too fast for Jinyoung to comprehend. He wanted nothing more than to embrace his now ex-boyfriend but Jackson had other plans.
His heart started to beat again but it beat anger. Hatred. All of it revolving around in Jackson's head that he knew that this was his fault, that everything was to be blamed on himself. But that's not what he was designed to react as.
Instead of breaking down and crying, he scoffed, threw the blanket off of his legs and sat up. Kicking his feet onto the ground, he walked barefooted to his closet, yanking the first sweatshirt he could grab out, throwing it with a snapback over his head. He walked in sweats, pulling his sweatshirt over his head and phone in hand, to the front door where he pulled a pair of sneakers on.
"Oh, Jack--"
Youngjae was interrupted by the sound of the front door closing. The boy looked around, walking out of the kitchen and looking at the front door.
"--son?"
The sun rose and GOT7 arrived at the airport. But it was actually GOT6. Jackson had slept in Namjoon's dorm and had gotten their manager to drop him off at the airport twenty minutes before the others would show up. He was already on the plane.
