Pov change:
I slid my way past my classmates and headed onto my way over my Literacy class. Their giggles and chats filled up my ears, gossip about other people's who's day has gone wrong.
"You should of been their, this guy totally ripped his jeans during-".
"I kid you not, this guy totally ruined lunch-".
"You would think that you couldn't ruin a teacher in 15 minuets, but this guy managed to do it-".
"This guy forgot his gym clothes and coach made him run 20 or so laps. To be honest, it was funny to watch him run around the whole gym-".
"It must be so embarrassing to walk into class late, specially on the first day, in homeroom-". My ears picked up on the story's, I couldn't hear it all, even though I wanted to know what went on next. I was lost in my own world when I bumped into this guy at the door to literacy. My schedule and some of my books dropped. The same for him, we both apologized and quickly picked up our things. I grabbed at what I thought was my schedule and books. I read the name, Joshua Bradley. I've been here for a while and I picked up from the others that he's one of the most popular kids at this school.
"This is yours" I whisper, he gave me a confused look. I repeat what I said, but louder.
"Ahh, thanks....Lachlan" he read onto my schedule. We traded our papers and headed into class. I walked off to a corner of the classroom, preferring to be alone.....but of corse I can't have that. Some guy about two or three inches shorter then me comes next to me and starts talking. His glasses over his small freckled nose slips constantly, his brown hair is brushed to the back with jell and he looks like he's going to go somewhere expensive with his clothes. I didn't care what he had to say, I tried to lean back, but I was backed up into a corner. He was talking about random stuff before he brought up my appearance.
"Why are you so tall? Is everyone else in your family tall?" He asked. I glared at him, my family was my personal information and it doesn't need to be spread. My heart aches with the very fuzzy memory's that I did- oh now I'm feeling depressed, great. "You don't talk much, what even is your name? Hey, do you hear me?"
"What? I'm talking now, happy!" I snapped. He seamed to ignore my tone and grinned, happy that I spoke.
"What's your name? Mines Justin Winifred!" He introduced. I debated whether to share my name or not, ehh, it couldn't hurt.
"Lachlan Power" I answered back, he gave me a look like he was on a sugar rush. He bounced on his toes, and bobbed his head.
"Power? That's a weird name, do you have magical powers or something-" The teacher stood up from his desk when all the students entered, he introduced that his name was Mr. Hendel. He said that he would be assigning seats for the year and took his clipboard. I was seated towards the front, my back facing the wall. The table could fit about for or five more students, Mr. Hendel sat down two girls and three more guys.......Including Justin. "Look at that! We're together!" He whispered into my ear. I mumbled an unenthusiastic 'yay' and turned my attention towards the teacher. He passed out books and told us to write our names in it, he then went over the rules that were to be stablished in this class. Concluding in the end that we were to hand in our end of book forms at the end of class. I silently started to do my work before I remembered what happened to my book form....

*flash back*
It was chilly for a July, the weather man said that their was a high percentage of it raining. I sat at my desk in my room and looked out the window that was in front of me. I shared with my other three brothers and sisters. They were making a ruckus in our room, after all, their only children. How I wish for a room of my own, but we can't afford to move into a bigger house, this one was convent for our needs. Our parents office and our schools were very close by and we had a park right down the road of the school. You know what, why didn't mom take them to the park?
"MINE!" The Twins Lavender and Louis screeched. With the ages of six and fighting over a toy truck, how immature.
"Lavender, that's not yours" Luke explained as he yanked the toy out of Lavender's hand and giving it to Louis. In the action, pleasing Louis and angering Lavender witch causes her to throwing herself onto the nearest peace of furniture and sulk as if she was in a Disney film.
"Lavender please!" I exclaimed over the sound, I stood up and looked over at them "I'm trying to do something!"
"Lachlan" Luke's tone was questioning "is....is that my bracelet?" He pointed at my wrist, each of us had a bracelet. Mine was blue, Luke's was green, Lavender was purple and Louis' was red. It was beginning to rain and thunder was in the background.
"This is mine, yours was green" I stated, he disagreed with me and kept pressuring that he was right. He then grabbed onto my wrist and tried to take it off, we yanked my arm back and forth. We hit the desk and papers went flying, one of them was my assignment and I bolted downstairs screaming 'NOO'. I rushed pasted my confused parents and bolted threw the door. I spotted the paper my next door in neighbors lawn as the rain started to fall heavily now. I race over to the paper and picked it up, but as if I was holding sand, it slipped threw my fingertips.
*Flash forward*
I quickly went to finish the work that was handed out and let my brain take over. As I was finishing up my last question, Mr. Hendel tapped me on the shoulder.
"Your end of book form?" He asked, I had told him that I didn't have it. "The whole class has handed this paper in, your the only one. Do you have a good reason?" He asked again. I debated wether to tell him the story or not, I decided not to. He finished up collecting his papers and placed them on his desk. "Listen up everyone, if you don't have your project, get less then a 65 or refuse to do any of the assignments, your getting detention until handed in. Mr. Power is an prime example, don't let this happen to you, I want to see it in my hand tomorrow." He handed me a report and a blue detention slip, dammmmmmmmm. The bell rung to indicate the end of the class and the awkward children shuffled out of class into their next one. I shoved my things into my backpack and sling it over my shoulder.
