Chapter One: Samantha's Thoughts

I was running down the street from some crazy man. I had no clue who he was or who I was. All I remember was waking up to some weird freak pacing back and forth in an abandon building. I could tell it was abandoned because the windows were nailed up and the was nothing in it but of course me and the man. He looked like he was in some kind of trouble. He probably was. I mean who holds somebody hostage and gets away with it. Unless I wasn't reported kidnapped. I'm sure someone said something. My parents, who ever they are, had to have noticed by now. I could tell by the cuts and bruises that I had been there for quiet awhile. Maybe my parents weren't even looking for me. Maybe they had no clue I was gone or maybe they didn't even want to find me. No. Impossible. My parents loved me. All parents love their children, right?

This is insane. I know I barley remember anything, but I do remember my parents loving me and treating me like I was the best thing that ever happened to them. I know for sure. I can't let my doubts bring me down. I have more things to worry about like that lunatic chasing me. What was his problem anyways? Who would want to chase a girl for about an hour? Why didn't he just give up? Was he worried that I might remember something? If that's the case he can just stop right now because I don't remember a thing. I don't even know my own name. This guy was clearly out of shape because I'm wearing high-heels, and he still can't catch me. Do you even know how hard it is to run in high-heels? Very hard. They make your legs extra tired.

Speaking of wearing, my clothes look horrible. They are all cut up and stained with blood. They probably looked nice before. I wonder where I was going. It must've been nice. Maybe a restaurant or a party. If I went to a restaurant how did I get in this situation then. Maybe he grabbed me when I was walking home. It probably makes more sense if I was at a party. I could've got drunk. That would explain the major headache I have right now. I turned around to see if he was still following me. Of course he was still following me. When I turned back around I ran into something or better much somebody. I was on the ground staring up at a muscular boy. He turned around and his eyes lit up instantly. I was staring up into his dirty green eyes. He has brown curly hair. He looked awfully familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it. "Samantha?" He finally spoke. I turned around to see if there was anybody standing behind me. Was he talking to me? Is that my name? "Are you talking to me?" I said slowly and a little quiet.. He started laughing. What was he laughing at? "Of course I'm talking to you Sammy." He chuckled out. "Is that my name?" I asked seriously. At first he didn't realize I was being serious, but then he finally caught on to my reaction. "You don't remember?" He asked slowly.

I just shook my head no. He helped me up, and then I remembered the man I was running for. I turned to find him not following me no more. I didn't see him anywheres. Where had he gone? "Looking for someone?" The strange green eyed boy asked. I didn't know his name which was weird. "Um... No." I said looking back at him. He put his hand on my shoulder. I flinched a little. I guess at instinct. "Come on Samantha. I know when you are lying." He said looking at me. "What's your name?" I said deciding to change the subject and it obviously worked because he didn't mention it again. " Um... It's well um.. Harry." That's when it hit me. He might be able to explain to me what happened. "Well Harry how do you know me?" "See Samantha we been best friends since we were 8." He said all smiley. "Oh, well do you know what happened to me?" I asked anxiously. I really wanted to know. "What do you me what happened to you?" He asked me confused.

After a while I guess he figured out what I was talking about because his confused face dropped. "I don't exactly know what you mean by what happened to you." He said. I was a little disappointed. Maybe nobody was looking for me. "Oh.." I said still disappointed. "But... If you are talking about the party last night, we kinda got in an argument and you left with some guy." He said calmly. I can't believe I left we some random guy like that. Maybe that was the guy who was chasing me. If it was that guy I must've been super drunk because that guy was not attractive at all. "Do you see the guys face?" I asked trying to get more information about this guy. "Um.. No not really. How about we go home before our parents worry." He said pulling me by my arm to a Range Rover. He let me to the passenger side and opened my door for me. He was definitely leaving a good impression on me. I know it sounds weird to just leave with a random stranger but he sounds innocent. We drove away to this big 3 story house. Who's house was this?

The house looks really familiar. Was this my house? There was nobody here when we walked in. "Harry?" I finally spoken. "Yes?" He said back at me. "Where are we?" I asked. "Your house. Where else?" He said like it was the most obvious thing ever. "I don't know. That's why I asked you. Jeez.. for someone who just lost her memory knows more than you." I whispered the last part. "What you said? I couldn't hear you." He asked suspiciously. " Nothing. Nothing. I just don't remember this house. That's all." I said defensively. " What! You mean you don't remember your own house," He said surprise. Wow! He surely catches on slowly. I shook my head 'No.'

"You don't remember the-" Harry started, but I zoomed him out as he keep describing things from last night. That's when it hit me. All my memories from last night came back to me. "I remember" I muttered, not aware of me talking as I keep remembering things. " What?" Harry asked confusedly. "I remember" I said more loudly.
