Divorced CoWorkers?

This is an idea I just randomly thought up and so I'm just gonna go ahead and type whatever comes up as I think. Sounds confusing I know, but please just stay with me!

I'd like to see this be where they do work in the WWE or some organization where it has so many people and they work very closely to each other. The pairing would have been married for a while at least a year or something and they were very public with their relationship, so when they get a divorce news spreads.

If you decide to go with the WWE route you could make it to where the public doesn't know, but if you do it where they work in a different organization I think it would make more sense that the public did know. That way you have those awkward moments where the press is asking them questions about how it is still working with each other. P.s I wanted to add that right when they get the divorce the WWE put them in a storyline & they gotta continue working with each other!

If this does become a book, I don't see it being like 100 chapters long, not even 50. If you work your chapters to where they are somewhat lengthy I can see it being 25-30. If you add a lot of detail and have somewhat of an actual end with a good finish maybe 35, but no more then 37.

(The reason I mention book length is because I think sometime readers and even the authors don't see a clear finish and usually publish as they write, so you don't really have an end goal. We all get so caught up in the ship or just enjoy it so much that we don't want it to end, so you just keep writing. I think that's why so many books end up unfinished, you write just to write and you end up forgetting this is an actual story and it should come to some sort of a close. No hate against those books, just something to think about! Main idea is to plan it out as you go and don't just publish to publish, write it and make sure you genuinely like what you put out!)

Back to the actual plot though: I think it'd be better off if the couple didn't have kids. The reason for this is; you want the focus to be on the ship. They are ultimately going to be the ones who are being put in uncomfortable situations and like I said earlier if you go with making the couple in the WWE it'd be very unrealistic to have both the parents full time workers.

Another thought that just popped in my head! It'd be fun,(this is if you go w/ making them WWE workers) make one of them an interviewer like Renee Young or a commentator like Corey Graves? That sounds like a cool idea too! Do it how you want I guess!

Also I think you could end the story either with them getting back together or ultimately them not. However, I will say this: if you go the whole story with them hating each other don't all of a sudden just make them come together the last chapter! I hate when that happens. If they are on and off like they can be chill but they still are hurt then maybe ending it with some sort of a friendship would work. YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT! Or you could end it to where they don't like each other and avoid each other at all costs, but make sure the build is there!

Okay that's it, hope that didn't confuse you more!

••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

That's my idea! Now that I think of it this would be cool to write and I'm really hoping someone does write this. If anyone even still looks at or reads this, please tell all the authors about this! It'd be fun to read! Tag authors you want to see make this!

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY TAG ME IF YOU CREATE A BOOK BASED ON THIS!!!

I know there's probably a lot of books out there like this, but I really needed to just put something out and I thought this was still a cool idea!
