One day, there was a girl named Katherine and she was longing for someone to be her crush. She had a crush on a boy named David since 5th grade,she got over him and moved on and she is now in high school in grade 9.
She doesn't like him any more though, but she is still looking out for a guy that she can trust and be the right man for her.
On one night there was this grade 9 party at the school hall and everyone in grade 9 had to go. Katherine wasn't really interested and she just sat there not doing anything and she just drank cooldrink and watched everyone dance with their partners.
But there was this boy named Gabriel, he noticed her sitting down, not having fun, so he walked towards her and said, " Hi there, my name is Gabriel. What's your name m'lady?"
"Oh...um...my name is Katherine. Nice to meet you Gabriel. So...aren't you gonna dance with someone or something? Because I don't see the point talking to the worst student in the school." Katherine said.
"And how am I talking to the 'worst student'? You are the best student in grade 9! You get straight A's for every test and exam and maybe even A++'s!! "
"Ugh, why does everybody say that. Okay, I admit it. I am a good student but, I don't have a partner to dance with tonight and I'm just sitting watching everyone dance. What's the point?" complained Katherine.
"Well then c'mon! I'll be your partner, if you want. ( holds out his hand )" asked Gabriel.
"Alright. I'll do it." replied Katherine.
Suddenly, when Katherine took his hand, she felt a spark inside of her. But she ignored it and danced with Gabriel.
