Fake
Chapter seven
Addyson Roe Mitchel

I can't stop thinking about him. Ethan.

I don't know how he has gotten into my head. And I hate the fact that he can mess up with my mind just so easily. he casts a spell on me. somehow. the way his eyes sparkle when he smiles, or talks about what he loves. the way his lip curves upward revealing his dimple.

my eyes study Ethan from afar, his movements, his smile. he acts like a human without me around, but a part of me wishes that moment we shared was more than just a 'moment' with him. I want Ethan to feel different about me, than most of the other girls he dated.

if only he felt the same way.

When he looked at me it was as if every ounce of breath was taken from my lungs, I quickly advert my eyes form his, feeling my cheeks paint red.

I lay my pounding head on the cool counter of the bar. my mind fighting my body, gaining dominance for sleep.

Grayson muscular body fills my sight, pulling me from my trance.

"Hey Addy you okay?" he questions smoothly

"Yeah."

"You seem a little on edge lately." his voice fills with concern

our eyes meet having their own conversation. an unexpected warmth rushes throughout my body.

when his eyes meet mine I feel safe, loved, protected. something Ethan hasn't made me feel in a long time.

I feel like I can tell him anything. anything at all.

"Grayson." I utter

"Yeah." he smiles locking eyes with mine

"Nevermind."

"No tell me." he states

my eyes fall to Ethan sharing an occasional laugh with some friends, his amber eyes connect to mine. the right side of his face tugs upward creating sinister smirk on his god-like face.

"Have you ever had feelings for somebody, that never saw you more than a friend" I breathed "That you loved with all your heart, that you feel you could die for them, but they wouldn't or shouldn't return those same feelings toward you?"

my eyes lock back with Grayson already staring at mine.

"Believe me, I do."
