Once again I was back in my parents bedroom staring at the rose slowly watching the petals fall on the ground. I look at myself in the cracked mirror and I see tears running down on my face. I think about the memories I shared with them. It's officially been a year that my parents have died while fighting for me to live. I wish I could've done something for them but I know this all happened for a reason. I'm not an ordinary teenager. My family has this deep secret that I cannot tell anybody. If I do tell someone they might tell the government and I could get in a lot of trouble. My parents were vampires and so am I. Unfortunately I'm the only vampire on earth and if I fall in love with a human it can bring a lot of trouble in my life and in theirs.
