"Run!"

That's all I remember. That word has never left me, unlike everything else. I still see their faces, hear their voices, their screams. They never leave, the only things I want to leave. I don't want to be here anymore! It was dark, I could barely see my hands in front of me. Then, I see light. I looked towards it having to shield my eyes. Once I took my hands away, my eyes widen with fear.

"Let's go, we have more things we want to test on you." It was him, the guy that took everything away from me.

But, before all that, why don't I introduce myself? My name is Josie Moon. I live with my family, my mum, dad, and little brother. We, are neko's or, mefwa's which ever one you prefer, they mean the same. I have brown hair and brown ears and tail. Same with my brother, and mother. My father has black hair, tail and ears. I have purple eyes that stand out in the dark. My brother got most of my dad's looks while I got my mums. Personality wise, I'm a bit of both while my brothers all mum. I have energy like my father, but I'm also lazy like my mother. Our life was full of fun and adventures! My father would take us places and we'd have fun exploring them, but, one day all that changed... It was a dark night and I couldn't sleep. I suddenly heard loud noises from the living room, I could hear my mother screaming. I ran out of my room to see what was wrong, as I turned the corner, my ears fell. I saw my father, in a pool of red. My mother was crying while she had his head on her lap. There was a man, he had a white suit on and there where others, they all had guns. One of them aimed it at my mother and fired, but it didn't hit her.

"JAY!!" I called as he took the bullet.

My mother looked over at him, he was bleeding hard.

"Look, we wouldn't have had to do this if you just gave us her." The guy in white stated as he pointed at me.

I was scared. I didn't know what to do.

"Never!!" My mum yelled through tears.

The guy sighed and was about to shoot.

"Wait!" I yelled as I ran in front of them. "I'll do whatever you want but you have to help them!!" I said with my arms out covering them, I heard my brother speak.

"N-no... Josie..." Jay mumbled, he tried to get up but failed, I could tell father was still alive since his tummy was going up and down from breathing.

"Fine, you have a deal." The man turned to his companions.

"Get them to a hospital, now!" He yelled. The men nodded and off we went, once we got there and I knew they were gonna be okay. That's what lead us to this point now. Many years later...

We left the dusty room. These were the only times I ever got to see what was outside that door. Ever since that day my ears have always stayed down, never once perked up. Once every week they would take me out to do test on me. This time though, we were walking somewhere I had never been before.
