Chapter Two

Grayson's POV

When my mom and dad got divorced it was mostly hard on me because me and my dad did everything together. But my mom made way more money and she took me instead of my dad, when she said we were moving from Massachusetts to New Jersey I was kind of surprised but I had to agree.

The next week or so we started packing everything and ordering U-Haul trucks to bring our things to our new house. The trip was so long it took about 6 hours, when we arrived at the house I saw a nice lawn with bushes and a small house to fit the two of us.

I stepped out of the car and breathed in the nice Jersey air, " I think I'm gonna like this place" I said to my mom and smiled. " I knew you were going to like it!" I walked over to the trunk and grabbed my suitcase and a duffel bag as my mom looked through her purse to get the keys to the new house.

She found the keys and walked up to the stoop and opened the door. The house was medium size and it was cozy, there was a fire place in the living room and a huge kitchen. There was stairs leading up to two bedrooms across from each other, I took the one left and my mom took the one on the right.

After and hour of unpacking I blew up my air mattress because the truck with all the beds was stuck somewhere in Connecticut. I put on boxers and an old t-shirt and laid in bed and fell asleep.

By the afternoon, I woke up to my mom yelling my name. I put on sweatpants and ran down the stairs to meet a boy with black hair and hazel eyes like me, " Hey I'm Grayson! Nice to meet you!" I said as I walked over and shook his hand even though I wanted to kiss him. Soon enough my mom had invited him to dinner. After he left to ask his parents I walked over to my mom who started washing tomatoes, "Why did you invite him I just met the guy." "I though it would be nice for you to at least meet someone here." " Yeah, I guess you're right. Besides he's really hot!" She laughed and stated to boil the pasta.
