It just seems right to put one of my first poems I wrote outside of school first on here so here you go!
THE LIGHT
No one there for him when he goes home at night
To tell him it'll be alright
During the day it's a head-on fight
To make sure his smile looks right
Little does he know, that she has perfect sight
To see through the facade and upon all his fright
She has the same issues, being alone is not right
But together through the darkness, they will find the light.
