"Hey. Wake up." Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang mga mata ko't nakitang nakahinto na yung fortuner niya sa tabing dagat.
"N-Nasan tayo?" Nag-aalinlangan kong tanong.
"My resthouse."
"So you're not joking with the vacation thingy?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"Do I look like I'm joking when I told you that?"
"Bakit? Malay ko ba? Maybe playing innocent? Duh. Don't you know jokers? They love playing innocent to make others laugh at their stupid jokes." Sagot ko at bumaba na. Pero pagbaba ko, naalala kong nakaposas ako kaya nakatayo lang ako dun, waiting for him to uncuffed me.
"Keep standing still." Rinig kong ani niya mula sa likod ng fortuner niya.
"Nangangalay na ako mister. Kindly take this handcuff off my wrist." Walang-gana kong tugon. But instead, I heard rustling sounds.
"Jester! Woah! You're big now huh? How's life without your master hm?" Master?
"Arf!! Arf!!" Okay. A dog.
Wait... WHAT!? A WHAT!?
I immediately went up the seat again and shut the door closed.
"Jester, stay okay? We have a visitor. Be nice to her okay? Even thou she's not being nice to anyone. You understand boy?"
"Arf!! Arf!"
Not being what? I'm nice to anyone! Not to him since he drag me here without any concern! And that one's being rude!
But seriously... I hate dogs... Not totally I hate them. I'm just... afraid? Maybe? I don’t care! Basta ayoko sa mga aso!!
"Spacing out?" I was startled by a voice beside me that I nearly jumped out that caused my head to hit the car's window/ceiling.
"Pwede ba!? Wag ka ngang manggulat!"
"Fail."
"Huh?"
"You tried to sound angry but ehh, you failed."
Inirapan ko na lang siya't itinaas ang kamay ko sa kanya. "Off." Utos ko't ginalaw-galaw yung kamay kong nakaposas.
He chuckled, "I forgot the keys inside. Can you wait?" He smirked and so I sighed.
"Kunin mo na. Bilisan mo, namamawis na yung kamay ko."
"So?"
"Duh? It's sweat mister. It's not just some kind of normal water out there."
"Will you die because your hand is full of sweat?" He asked, looking confused. I just rolled my eyes at him and he just snorted. "Wait here. Jester will be looking after you."
"Who?"
"Don't worry. He's friendly. Unlike you." He smirked, opened the door beside me and left. Wow? Aalis na nga lang siya eh nagawa pang manlait? Wow naman. Edi siya na yung friendly at ako na yung hindi!
"Arf!!"
"WAAAAHHHH!!" Sigaw ko't ipinikit ang mga mata ko.
"Arf!!!" Damn this dog.
"LAYUAN MO KO, PLEASE LANG!!"
Then the silence pass by, I can only hear a bell. And after the bell, I heard a click sound and a loud thud. I opened my eyes and saw that jerk's face right in front of mine.
"Handsome, aren't I?"
I showed him a blank look and immediately pushed him. "Tsk. Aalis na ako!"
