yerin was raised as an orphan her whole life, due to family circumstances. she always felt alone, but she had a friend to support her.

sooyoung, too was an orphan with yerin. her family was separated. something just sparkled among them, they instantly became best friends.
why is it when unfortunate events appear right when you're happy?

" hey come over here! " yerin gestured
" what what what? " sooyoung tip toed over
" let's go outside and play "
" we're not allowed to, it's past our curfew.. "
" come on, just once " yerin begged cutely
" alright, if we get in trouble it's your fault. "
the girls slowly and sneakily made their way out of the building. outside was the orphanage's play area, with a soccer field, basketball courts, tables and such
" do you wanna play basketball or soccer? "
" hmmm.. basketball? "
" I'll go get the ball, wait here. " yerin rushed
sooyoung patiently waited for her friend. it was pretty scary out there alone, as it was already night time. she gulped and looked around, shaking.
" yerin, hurry and come... " she whispered

" SOOYOUNG, I GOT THE BALL " yerin smiled
she panicked. sooyoung was not there.
" did she get caught? "
" dang it, I'll just go back "
when yerin opened the door, the principal was right there. yerin's eyes widened.
" imsorryiwontdoitagainitwasmyfaultnothers "
" where is she? "
" huh? "
" that friend of yours is reported missing. "
yerin dropped to the floor. guilt rushed through her body, she couldn't process what happened.
" w-what h-happened to HER! " yerin tried getting up
" we speculate that she was kidnapped. " " why did the two of you, go out anyway? " the principal sighed
yerin cried, she didn't care about the consequences. her only friend was gone. and it was all her fault.
now yerin is 23 years old, still traumatised.
