The adventure of Mist

Prologue

Stars glitter over the night sky. "Pine! Could you grab me more nuts?", Star shouted to Pine, "How many more nuts do you need! I keep bringing them to you over and over again! Why can't you just ask Ice? He isn't busy!", Pine shouted to star, "because Pine, who let you share the tree with a bird and a squirrel to have a home?" Star said, Pine let out a sigh, "you.". "Exactly!, said Star, and i'm in charge, I bring all of us food and water!", "Why can't Ice be in charge, he's the smartest out of all of us and way more responsible then you!" Shouted Pine.  Ice flew to the tree overhearing the conversation, then landed on the branch to see Pine and Star fighting as usual. "How many times do we have to go over this Pine? I don't wish to be in charge because I have better things to do then control everything, we have a balance, Star is the leader, I'm the smart one, and your the tough one, we all have roles to play.", Ice explained. Ice went in to the hole of the tree which was their home while Pine went out to get more nuts for star.

              As pine was walking in the undergrowth of his forest home, he heard a swoosh and another swoosh and another swoosh. "Hey who's there!", Pine shouted, "I am Pine the raccoon, one of the toughest animals in the forest! Face me if you dare foul beast!". He started to hear growling and the growling got louder and louder and louder. "I've faced many beasts and succeeded and I know this won't be any different!" Pine searched and searched ready to put up a fight but all he could see was darkness. As he kept searching, the forest seemed to close on him more and more as he proceeded. Forgetting about the monster, Pine spotted a whole pile of nuts. "With this many nuts I probably won't have to ever get star more ever again!" The growling came back and he noticed a shadow. Pine knew what this was and what to do. This was not just any beast, it was the gorg.
