Chapter 22

After talking to Austin about my decision and conversing about it with him, I went over to the girls.

"How'd it go Mila?" Dinah smiled.

"Well. It went well." I smiled back.

"Good." Dinah gave me a faint smile.

"Hey Mani, Ally, Dinah, I was thinking we could all sing La La La/Latch medley with Lauren tonight." I said to all of them.

"That'd be amazing!" Lauren exclaimed.

"Lauren, go and cover your neck up, we're kind of talking." I motioned between the other girls and I.

She stuck out her tongue and came over to me slinging an arm around my neck.

"Already did, now keep talking." She snapped and smirked.

I sighed and rolled my eyes as Lauren tapped the side of my head. I laughed and kept going.

"SO, are you guys interested?" I smiled.

"Sure! Right Mani?" Ally smiled as Normani nodded and grinned.

"Guys. That was so fucking good! We could be a group. The crowd loved us so much." Lauren smiled and danced around a bit.

We finished up singing for the crowd and was currently backstage standing in a circle with the girls.

"Hey, I can't wait for it to start." Austin said behind me. I turned around and smiled.

"It's no problem." I grinned. The girls were looking at us, curious.

"I'll see you next show and we can talk about it more." He widely grinned and walked to the stage starting his set.

"I thought you said no to him." Lauren stated firmly. I turned back around and smirked at her.

She frowned and narrowed her eyes.

"I'll tell you later," I said hinting to her sleeping over in my bus for tonight.

"Forget later." She grumbled.

"Don't be like that, I'll be in the bus with Lauren, okay?" I told the girls and they nodded.

"I swear to god if you guys bang in there and it's anywhere near my bunk and there's a scent, I will kill you two, hoiii." Dinah warned pointing at us.

"Dinah, don't swear to God." Ally narrowed her eyes at her.

"Scent?" Lauren questioned.

"If it smells like sex in there when-"

"I GOT IT. I got it!" Lauren said putting a thumbs up.

I grabbed her arm and pulled her to the bus and she sat down on the couch.

I made a move to sit by her and she stared at me.

"Don't you dare sit by me."

I rolled my eyes and sat on her putting my arms around her neck.

"You're cute when you're jealous." I laughed and she stared at me with a blank face.

"Okay, here we go, I said no to Austin but I told him how he can get another girl to do it and he wants me to see which girl might do it tomorrow. That's all." I lightly laughed.

"Oh. I was overreacting. I'm sorry." She put her head in my chest and hugged my waist bringing me closer.

"You better be."
