Okay, where was I meeting Luna again?....….. oh yeah, I remember, the coffee place in town.
*Walks down a quiet street on his way to the coffee shop*
It's quiet tonight, I better be careful, anyway, I'm nearly there now.......
Where is she........ah, there she is.
"Hey."
"Hello handsome."
"Aww Luna, you're making me blush."
"Since when was that a bad thing?"
"Oh, come on, I never said it was a bad thing necessarily."
"I know, anyways, shall we?"
"Ah, yes.......ladies first?"
"Why thank you."
*Luna enters first, then Gareth, into the little café*
"Um......what would you like?"
"Oh Gareth, you don't have to, you know?"
"Yeah, I know, but I want to, choose something, anything, and I will get you it, it's the least I can do."
"Okay, if you say so playboy."
*Luna goes up to the counter, and chooses what she wants*
"Good evening ladies, what can I get you?"
"Um..... actually, he's a man."
"Oh, I'm ever so sorry, what can I get you two?"
*They both place their orders, and Gareth gets his wallet out*
"Okay, that will be £6.20."
*Luna takes the tray, and Gareth pays*
"Thanks."
*They walk to an empty table in the corner*
"So, has your mum seen the text yet?"
"No, not yet, I'm beginning to think that she never checks her phone."
*Luna laughs quietly*
"Oh, you find it funny do you?"
"Yeah, I kinda do."
*They both take sips of their drink*
"So Luna, do you want to
go to the park?"
"Sounds great, lead the way."
*They walk to the park, and sit on a bench*
"You know, I am really nervous about what my mum will say."
"You really don't need to be, no matter what happens, I'll always be here for you."
"Thanks Luna."
*They lock eyes, and lean into each other, when Luna says:*
"You are such an amazing person, you know that Don't you?"
*They lean closer*
"No, I didn't know that, I just thought I was a waste of space."
*Gareth puts his hand against Luna's shoulder*
"What do you want most in life??"
*Luna takes his hand away, and says:*
"I want you."
--------------a few minutes later---------------
*They are at Gareth's house, and his mum is in the kitchen, looking at her phone*
"Hey mum, I'm home!!"
"It sounds very quiet Gareth, is your mum ok?"
"I don't know, mum! Are you there??"
*All is quiet until a faint voice says:*
"I'm in the kitchen."
*Gareth gestures Luna to stay behind him*
"Hey, what's wrong?"
"I just got your message."
Oh, god, this isn't going to end well....
"The only thing I want to know is......"
"Yes mum?"
"If, for instance, I took you to the doctor, to get the respective stuff done......would you be happy?"
*She looks up at Gareth*
"Mum, it would make my life complete."
"Well, there's only one solution to this, isn't there?"
*She waves 'cone here' to him*
"I will make you an appointment as soon as I can."
*She hugs Gareth*
"Does your friend.....Luna Know?"
*He looks at Luna, and she walks in to the light of the oven*
"She's here mum, and she's the one that gave me the courage to tell you."
"Luna....... thank you for being such a good, kind hearted person."
*She hugs Luna, and then says:*
"Luna, are you free tomorrow?"
"Um......yes, I think I am Mrs Jacq- wait, Karen, sorry."
"Fantastic!! Well, we are all going shopping!! We can pick you up at ten tomorrow morning, and then we can all have a nice day out."
