"Bye Lila," I replied. Hopefully, she would give up by now.
"So, do you have any plans today? She asked.
"I have a doctor's appointment today, actually..." I quickly responded, hoping she would believe into the lie.
" I actually managed to get a hold of your schedule." She said with a chuckle.
Goddamnit.
" I was wondering if you'd like to go to the movies with me today." She then said.
" If I say yes, would you stop calling me?" I said, frustrated.
"Of course." She said with a fake giggle.
"Great," I said sarcastically.
"I'll see you at 8 than baby!" She added before I ended the call.
