"Alright! I'm up!" You said as you woke up and climb out of bed. You walked over to your bedroom door and opened it to find no one there. "What the hell?"

Tap tap. Tap.

You turned around and immediately see that somethings not right. Running to your window, which over looks your back garden, you saw a girl with blonde hair in a red vest top and blue pyjama shorts hovering on the other side of the glass panes.

This is Kara Danvers, your next door neighbour and best friend, and in all honesty, you have a small crush on her. You've known each other ever since she moved in next door 4 years ago when her parents, Jeremiah and Eliza "adopted" her.

Aside from her parents, you're the only person who knows who she really is: Kara Zor-El, the last daughter of Krypton. She was sent to Earth around 30 years ago when her father Zor-El and his brother Jor-El discovered Krypton was going to explode.

She left Krypton a teenager with her infant cousin Kal-El, but she got stuck in hyper sleep when her ship went off course and arrived years after Kal-El, who now lives in Metropolis as Superman.

Without thinking, you quickly opened the window.
"What the fuck are you doing, Kara? Someone could see you! Get inside!"
You move out of the way and Kara clambered in the window.
"Relax, (Y/N), it's early," Kara said. "Besides, I thought you'd like to know that I can fly now! I woke up and I was hovering above my bed. I went outside and voila!"

"So," you said, "Now you have every power Kal-El has then?"
Kara pushed a few loose strands of hair back behind her ear. "I think so, yes. I'll ask him tonight."
"Tonight?"
"He's coming down to celebrate me graduating high school, with today being the last day of our senior year. It was Eliza's idea. You can come round and say hi if you want."

You sat down on the edge of your bed just taking on what had just happened. Superman was going to be in the house next door tonight! And you had an invitation to go round and say hi.

It was at this point you noticed you were still only wearing your boxers. Kara had also noticed.
"Well," she said. "Looks like someone's happy to see me."

You looked down and see possibly the worst thing to see in this situation: a peak in your boxers, a result of morning wood.
Hurriedly you grabbed one of your pillows and bring it down onto your lap to cover yourself.

Kara laughed. "Come on, I'm only kidding. I know it's only natural body shit you can't control doing its thing," she said, climbing back into the window. "I'll leave you to deal with it and see you in half an hour." She winked and hopped out of the window, flying the short distance home.
