''Tia! Tia! Wake up Tia!'' Celestia opened her eyes to see her little sister bouncing on top of her. "C'mon Tia! It's morning, and that means it's play time!" She jumed off Celestia's bed and waited for her to get up. Celestia sighed and sat up.
"Is this going to be a regular thing with you?" she asked the small blue alicorn.
Luna nodded, smiling. "It's summertime, and we can go out side and play!'' Luna squealed, bouncing around Celestia. Celestia smiled.
''I'll race you outside!" the older alicorn challenged, and at once Luna took off out of Celestia's bedroom. Celestia rolloed her eyes and levitated her brush, running it through her long, pink hair. She looked at her bare flank, hoping it wouldn't be long before she could raise the sun on her own and earn her cutie mark.
''Tia!?" Celestia heard her sister's dismayed voice and huried out of her bedroom.
''Sorry Luna, I was just-''
Her sister cut her off. ''It doesn't matter! Let's just go out side and play already!"
Celestia followed Luna out of their castle, which was located deep in the everfree forest. Their mother was busy tending to her huge garden that surrounded their castle, and their father wasn't there. Celestia figured he was probably visiting Ponyville or somewhere else. Thre mother turned her head when she heard them.
''Good morning Celestia. I see Luna woke you!'' Her mother smiled, as Celestia nodded. ''Your father is out getting things for the party. You did remember we were having one right?"
Celestia had totally forgot the party! It was her parents annaversary today! 1025 years! Her mother seemed to have noticed Celestia surprise, and smiled.
''It will be a huge party! A great oppurtunity for you and Luna to make some friends!'' the white alicorn with a sparkling, flowing orange mane said happily. "Where were you two heading anyways?"
''To the treehouse, duh!" Luna replied, rolling her eyes as if she couldn't believe her other hadn't known.
Comet nodded her head. ''Yes, of coarse, the treehouse!'' her mother acknowledged. ''Just be home by lunch-time please, I'm haveing a few friends over and they have a pegasus you two can play with!"
Luna had already began to walk away, and Celestia turned and nodded to her mother before following her younger sister. They followed the rainbow path to the their treehouse, which, Celestai figured, was probably bigger than a normal pony's house!
Luna began to walk up the spiral stairs to the huge glass doors. ''What should we play today Tia? Wanna play mommy and daughter? Or we could play twins? Ooh! How about I'm the good princess, that controls everything happy, and you're my evill twin! You try to destroy my castle and bring evil to rule the whole world!" Luna stood on her hind legs and twirled around, indicating the whole world with her front hooves.
Celestia rolled her eyes. "Why don't we play something a little less.....dramatic?"
Luna looked thoughtfull. "I know! I'll be your puppy!''
Once again Celestia rolloed her eyes, but decided that it wouldn't be hard to pictue Luna as a dog. ''Fine,'' she said, which made Luna happy.
Luna began fake barking and scratchng on the doors with her hooves like a dog would with its paws. Celestia foolowed her and opened the doors with her magic.
''Here's your new home puppy!''
''Woof! Woof!" Luna ran in circles, pretending to chase her tail.
Celestia laughed, watching her sister act like a dog was pretty amusing. Suddenly there was a loud *BANG* On the wall. Celestia jumped backwords, and Luna stumbled to one side. At once, Celestia jumped up and ran out of the treehouse to investigate.
''Tiiiiiaaaaa! Wait!'' Luna cried as she tried to catch up,but chasing her tail had left her dizzy, and she was forced to sit down again.
''I'll be right back,'' The older alicorn replied and raced down the spiral stairs, her tail streaming out behind her. When she reach the bottom, she looked around. She gasped when she saw a furry heap laying on the ground. She approached it catiously, and squeaked when it sat up. At once it jumped onto it's back feet, which were different! One was a clove deer hoof, and the other was an aligator foot His arms were different too, one was a lion'spaw and the other was an eagle's talon. He had a deer antler and a blue, zig-zaged horn. His fur was fluffy brown and he had a bat wing and a pegasus wing, and a long, red, dinosuar looking tail.
''S-sorry! I didn't mean to crash into your house!'' he stammered.
Celestia was staring, we-struck, at the creature in front of her. ''Who are you?" she asked him. ''And what are you?!"
Suddenly the creature smiled and burst out laughing. He rolled onto his back and continued to laugh.
Celestia was confused. ''What's so funny!?" she demanded.
The creature rolled over again, the snapped his eagle-claws. Then he was gone!
Celestia squeaked when she felt a claw on her shoulder.She tuned to see him behind her.
''H-how did you do that!?" she gasped.
''You mean, you've never seen a dragonaques before?!'' he asked, ignoring Celestia's last question, and Celestia shook her head. ''Well, my name's Discord! I was just flying aound the forest, not payin' attention to where I was going, the BOOM! I flew right into your treehouse!'' He finished dramatcally, clappig his paws together loudly.
''So, are you magical?" Celestia asked Discord.
Discord nodded. ''But I have different magic than you do.'' he explained. ''You have alicorn magic, and I have dragonaques magic.'' he said matter-of-factly.
Celestia looked at Discord curiously. ''Why do you look so, weird?" she asked him.
Once again Discord started laughing. When he got ahold of himself he replied, ''You really have never heard of a dragonaques! We all look like this!''
Celestia turned around when she heard hoove steps. Luna had come down from the treehouse. ''You said you were gonna ba ri-'' she cut off when she saw Discord. "Who is that?!" That asked in a scared voice.
Celestia giggled. ''This is Discord!" She replied.
"Why does he look so, weird?!''
"He's a dragonaques!''
"I'm dragonaques!'' Discord and Celestia said at the same time.
This time Celestia laughed with Discord, leavng Luna looking confused.
''All dragonaqueses look like this.'' Discord explained to Luna. ''But, you never told me your name.'' He turned back to Celestia.
"I'm Celestia, Celestia Sun, and this is my sister, Luna Moon.''
''You can call me Luna, or Lulu,'' Luna added. "And Celestia's nickname is Tia!"
"I don't have a nickname,'' Discord sighed.
Celestia thought about it. There wasn't really any nickname that sounded like Discord. Suddenly her mother's voice interupted her thoughts.
"Celestia Sun!''
Celestia, Luna and Discord turned to see Comet staring down at them.
"Celestia, Luna, go home now!"
''Why!'' Luna wailed. ''We're having fun with Discord!"
Discord waved his lion paw in greeting.
''Just go home now, and I'll explain later.'' she commanded, then turned to Discord. ''You go home too.''
Celestia looked back at Discord, seeing her own confusion reflected in his uneven sized eyes. ''Sorry,'' she whispered and turned to leave with her mother and complaining little sister. Her pink tail dragged on the rainbow stone path all the way back to the castle.
