Kyle was having trouble sleeping on a stormy night. The wind was howling,the rain pounding,and Kyle's head was spinning. "Perhaps,"he decided,"I shouldn't read such terrifying novels before bed."
A loud knock came to his front door,making him nearly shriek.
He grabbed his wand and made his way to the door. The knocking got a tad louder and Kyle flinched as he opened the door. On the front steps stood a soaked figure who's gaze was set directly on Kyle.
The young wizard screamed and fell backwards as the figure entered the house and shut the door.
"IT'S THE EVIL CLOWN!!" Kyle screamed while reaching for his wand. The figure pounced on him,sitting on his waiste. Kyle whimpered and stared up at his attacker. The person/thing leaned close to him.
"P-please don't h-hurt me,I h-have f-friends and a l-lovely girlfriend!"Kyle cried as the whatever-it-is put a hand next to the terrified wizard's head and leaned forward. It whispered in a familiar voice,"I ran out of cookies."
Kyle was absolutely dumbstruck as the "monster" began to giggle,then he became enraged,"MARLEY!!"
Kyle glared at his girlfriend as she helped him up,still giggling. Marley quickly noticed Kyle's annoyance and kissed his cheek,"I'm sorry,I didn't mean to scare you."
"You barged into my home and tackled me,but DIDN'T MEAN TO SCARE ME?!"Kyle shouted. Marley smiled warmly,"I said I'm sorry,and I told you Stephen King books are way too scary for you!"
"I suppose you're right. And yes,I have cookies." Kyle sayed quietly. Marley grinned and pulled him to the kitchen,where she began putting some cookies on a plate.
"By the way Kyle,you look really hot in your underwear." Marley giggled as Kyle dashed to his room to find some clothes.
