Rick's POV

"You know we can't just rush into battle like that. You're asking for him to kill us," Daryl growled at me while slamming his crossbow on the table.

"We have no other choice Daryl. I need to do what's best for everyone. Maybe we'll catch em by surprise and..." I started.

"And what? When have we ever caught them by surprise Rick? We've lost too many people to be going on some damn suicide mission just so you have the chance to get a shot at him," He stormed out of the room leaving me alone with my thoughts. I had to do this, for Glenn. For Abraham. For all the families he tore apart.

Even if I'm going alone I'm killing the bastard. I slung my gun over my shoulder and made my way to a lonely car. Daryl didn't seem to realize my plan was happening one way or another. Ever since he proposed to Jesus he'd been more cautious about what missions he went on.

I sighed and slid into the car. My eyes took in Alexandria, memorizing every little detail about it. If this was my last time seeing it I might as well remember it right. Somewhere in the distance I could hear Carl and Judith laughing together, music to my ears. A smile crept across my lips and I made my way to the gate. This town, these people, their safety, their future. It was all worth whatever shit for thrown my way. Sometimes you gotta lose one life to save a hundred.

I sat in the car silent, watching the road for any sign of him or his henchmen. I finally decided to pull over and wait em out. It felt like hours had gone by before I'd seen a group of savior's walking towards Alexandria. Peeking through my rifles scope I searched for the famous Lucille swinging loyally by her master's side. The cold barrel of a gun pressed against the back of my head.

"Looking for me, prick," Negan chuckled. "Damn you have got to have some beach ball sized balls to think you could take me out by yourself with absolutely no backup. I knew you were brave but fuck Rick I didn't think you were stupid."

"I told you. I said I was gonna kill you and I will be the one who pulls the trigger on the gun that ends you," I whispered just loud enough for him to hear. His chuckle echoed on the trees as he pulled the gun from me and yanked me to my feet.

"You and I are gonna have a nice little talk Rick. Nothing bad just need to discuss some new plans with ya before I decide what I'm doing," he pulled me after him roughly. I tried to squirm out of his town but was only met with a firm yank forward.

"What do you want with me Negan?" I demanded, following him against my will.

"I wanna negotiate Rick. Talk mano a mano. Find a solution to both of our problems if you will. It's easier to shut the hell up till we get there I'll explain it all a lot better for ya," I could hear the smirk in his voice. I'm not sure what he is planning but I really should've listened to Daryl for once.

Negans POV

My men made their way to Alexandria for my most recent attempt at negotiating. My eyes wandered watching for anybody who may try to stop us. A figure crouched on a hill caught my eye making me smile.

"Just the man I was looking for," I whispered separating from the group. I made my way up the back of the hill hoping to catch Rick off guard and talk to him alone. Slowly approaching him from behind I watched as he searched my ranks through a little Rifle scope. Gently I pressed the gun against the back of his head.

"Looking for me, prick," I asked quietly. He slowly pulled away from the gun. "Damn you have got to have some beach ball sized balls to think you could take me out by yourself with absolutely no backup. I knew you were brave but fuck Rick I didn't think you were stupid."
"I told you I was gonna be the one to kill you..." He started. I rolled my eyes as he went over his usual shit. My eyes then drifted down to look at the perfect little ass ass I was determined to make mine. Finally realizing he was done talking I chuckled and yanked him to his feet. I didn't need to hear the whole speech to know it was bullshit.

"You and I are gonna have a nice little talk Rick. Nothing bad just need to discuss some new plans with ya before I decide what I'm doing," I explained dragging him to the RV I personally used for jobs like this. He tried to pull out of my grasp but I just pulled him along rougher. Always making everything complicated Ricky.

"What do you want from me?" He demanded. Damn I like em feisty. This'll be fun as hell.

"I wanna negotiate. Talk mano a mano. Find a solution to both of our problems if you will. It's easier to shut the hell up till we get there I'll explain it all a lot better for ya," I joked pulling him along like a dog. Once we made it to the RV I released Rick and motioned for him to enter my quiet little home away from home.
