Introduction

Facing dangers

Struggling to catch her breath, silence filling the air, her attention soon falls on the teacher taking notes. She looks up and gives her a grin. Her Note-cards shuffling in her hands. It's her final year of school. Her final year of being treated like an outcast. Jody as an eighteen-year old woman, has to speak in front of her class.

JODY

We belong to a generation that watched our future get stolen from right under us. The dream we had and the dream our parents wished for us faded away. People these days' bribe, lie and even kill for money to become the higher power we all strive to have. It used to be when you get good grades you could get into a good school and get a good job as you get older but lately it all depends on how much money your parents are willing to put on the table to secure you a place in a fast growing society. People always say be careful what you wish for but I never believed that. I always wanted to make a difference but not by sitting in a hot shot company earning billions to only let it be taken by strangers pointing a gun at my head in the middle of the night.

She's hurting inside and we can see it. She's a fighter though. So finding her inner composure she drops her note cards.

JODY

There are truly no more inspirational role models in life. Everybody's adapting with the technology. Things are changing to such an extent that we all would soon be replaced by robots. Over the centuries humans have progressed. With the new age at hand, the children of today face a greater threat. Innocence have been taken by societies that lead the countries, faced with the realities of the new world, violence, abuse, sex and drugs poison the minds of children and effect their way of living, no longer does the essence of the free spirited child able to explore the land and let their imagination run wild exist but those who suffer the most are able to create the incredible. In this world a great war takes place so does a war commences in the minds of the young

The start was very captivating but as you always do, you wondered off topic

You really need to focus and follow through when giving a speech, but as usual, this is what daydreaming gives you, the inability to focus and you start wondering. our government dose a lot for us and people like you, so take a seat dumb coulerd gil"

The laughter got louder. A tear drops from her cheek onto my notes on the floor. School hasn't been kind to her.

The smell of smoke started to burn her thought as she notices three boys in the back row smoking.

You're killing the earth!

She walks back to her seat still with a roaring sound of giggles and gossip in the air. The look of embarrassment on her face she sat down at her desk.

MISS CONNER

Now ladies and gentlemen

Her bright red lips and her hourglass body, every boy's lust and all the married teacher's mistress waddled her way to the front from the back. Taking the last drag of the cigarette and passing it back to one of the boys.

It is time to face facts, everybody here has a destiny. Whatever that might be I want it to come through in these speeches, this being your last year it is best to make your mark before you are completely forgotten. Some of you will have babies before even leaving school
