Jab We Met

It was the first day of college. Kartik and Naira are both very nervous.

Most of the students are in college, when they see Kartik come into college. He has earphones on, and his jacket is dangling on his finger behind his shoulder. He is listening to the song 'Kukkad' from 'Student Of The Year' through his earphones.

The other students are all whispering about him, but Kartik cannot hear any of this.

At the same time, Naira too walks into the college. She has earphones on, and she's listening to the song 'Gulabi Aankhein' (the Student Of The Year version).

All the girls of the college are drooling over Kartik, and all the boys of the college are drooling over Naira.

Just then, a girl comes in front of Naira. Naira removes her earphones.

Naira: Aisha!! Tu yahan kaise?

So the girl is Aisha, Naira's childhood best friend.

Aisha: Are! Main tujhe yahin poonchne wali thi.

Naira: Are! Main to yahin course kar rahi hoon. Aaj pehle din hai.

Aisha: Mera bhi! Accha hua hum mil gaye ab.

Aisha gives Naira a big hug, and then they break apart.
Then suddenly, Aisha starts laughing.

Naira: Kya hua?

Aisha: Tu abhi bhi filmon mein itni interested hai?

Naira: Kyun?

Aisha: Nahi, wo tu college mein enter karte samay gaana sunkar filmy style mein aa rahi thi na, isiliye.

Naira: Haan, mujhe laga ki ek baar to try kar doon na.

Both Aisha and Naira start laughing.

Aisha: Accha, tune apna schedule liya?

Naira: Aisha, thoda to socha karo. Main abhi abhi aayi hoon. Apna schedule kaise leti?

Aisha: Are haan, accha chal. Jaake schedule le aate hain.

Aisha and Naira go to the reception to get Naira's schedule.

Meanwhile:

Kartik has entered the campus, and is standing at the gate for a few minutes, while all the girls are looking at him. Just then, Siddharth walks towards him.

Siddharth: Kartik! Kahan tha yaar? Itni dher se tumhara wait kar raha hoon.

Kartik removes his earphones and gives Siddharth an angry look.

Kartik: Are duffer, main tumhara wait kar raha tha. Aaj to tum mere ghar aane wale the, aur hum saath chalne waale the na? Kya hua?

Siddharth: Maaf kar de na. Wo Aisha ko ready hone mein time lag gaya, to main tumhare ghar nahi aa paya.

Kartik: At least call kar lete.

Siddharth: Accha sorry, meri galti hai. Ab andar schedules lene chalein?

Kartik: Chal.

Kartik and Siddharth go to the reception to collect their schedules.

At the reception:

Naira and Aisha are talking to the receptionist while Kartik and Siddharth just walk in.

Kartik: Hi Aisha!

Aisha: Kartik!

Aisha goes and gives Kartik a hug. Just then, Naira turns around, and Siddharth notices her.
