"I don't understand! Where are you taking me?" I asked as I was trying to remove his tight grip on my wrist.
"I'm doing this for your own good, Eirenne!" He answered without even looking at me and continued to drag me.
"Enough!" I said and removed his grip on my wrist. "I'm not going with you, I don't even know you!" I added.
"There's no time for me to explain! Now come!" He said, grabbed me and ran. I had no choice but to follow him. He led me to a room. I let out a sigh and look at him while he's busy catching his breath.
"Now, can you please explain?" I asked. He looked at me and coughed.
He sighed. "I don't have much time, you need to get out of here, you're life will be in danger if you would stay any longer."
"What? W-Why? I don't understand." I said.
"They're coming for you, for your powers."
I raised a brow at him, "My what?! Is this a joke?"
"You know what I'm talking about, it was you, you did it-no, your powers did it."
"Wha-? Are you insane!? If this is some kind of prank? You got the wrong person, this is real life not some strange fantasy novel!" I retorted.
He just shook his head and smirked.
"Real life? Life is stranger than fiction, Eireene."
My brows furrowed as I looked at him straight in the eye.
"You still have a lot of things you don't know about yourself. You still don't know who you truly are." He added.
"What are you trying to say?" I laughed. "Then if I don't know who I am, who does? You?" I smirked.
"No one knows." The smirk on my mouth began to fade. "No one knows who you are, Eirenne, No one, No one knows who are your parents, are they still alive? the date of your birth- where you were born, no one knows."
"That can't be right! Stop lying to my face! I have my parents, I know my when and where I was born! I know me! I know everything about me!" I frustratedly exclaimed.
"No, you don't." He said. "That's why I'm sending you to a place..." He paused. "A place where you can learn more about yourself, where you can control your powers, where you can find who you truly are."
"Why are you doing this?" I asked.
"Because I don't want you to be harmed." He replied.
"What are you talking about? We barely know each other. You came out of nowhere and dragged me here?"
He walked slowly towards me, "For now-Yes, we sure are strangers to one another but it is only a matter of time 'till we see each other on the field again. Consider this somewhat a preparation from your Superior."
"Now, follow me." He said and led me into a door. He opened it, and what was on the other side was nothing but darkness. A strong gust of wind blowing and felt like I was gonna be sucked into the dark abyss. I cling on to him but he just blankly stared at me. I tighten my gripped.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING-AHH" I wasn't able to finish my sentence. He removed my hands. I held his arms and screamed.
His iris glowed in the shade of caramel. I didn't know what to do.
"Stop being so stubborn!" As he dragged me in front of the door. I begged him not to let go.
"Behind this door, is the place that I am talking about." I raised my brow, but before I can even say a word he cut me again.
"I'm sure you'll be fine, the storekeeper will be waiting for you."
"A what?! Are you sure this is safe?"
"Yes, it's safe, now go." He said.
"Oh! And by the way, the name's Percival but you can call me Percy."
"Now is not the time for that!?" I muttered, he just laughed and looked at his hand. The only thing that was gripping me connected to my world.
"NO! Please don't let--" I wasn't able to finish my sentence when he smiled and let me go. A strong force was pulling me to the other side of the door. I reached out my hand to him but he stepped back and waved at me.
"Goodbye, Erienne."
That was the last thing I saw. A tall man in knight's armor waving at me.
Darkness filled the room. What once was dim lighted room is now pure darkness. It was so cold and lonely.
Why? Why does this happen to me. I cried out to my mom and dad but no one seems to hear me.
I curled like an infant, hugging myself.
"I don't want to be here..." Tears started rolling down my face. "Please somebody, help me." I said as I slip through unconsciousness. I closed my eyes, it was the same. Darkness.
Is this the end for me? Did he lie?
It's so eerily quiet unlike from where I was. Color was nothing but black unlike the vivid and vibrant colors of the scenery of my city.
Is this what death feels like? Through nothingness, you'll be alone with your thoughts?
I wished I could be born again.
I hugged myself even tighter but something was odd. My chest felt warm. I opened my eyes there was a ball of light coming from my chest, slowly my body felt the sensation of heat. The darkness seem to fade and colors started shining through.
Where am I? Is this the second life? Light suddenly surrounded me, I used my hands to cover my eyes from what seem to be a blinding light.
I tried to stand but my knees were shaky and weak.
"Eirienne, I was expecting you." A voice said. As I look up, the blinding light suddenly disappeared and I was in a shop. Cauldrons and brooms, were all over the place.
There was a man holding me, as I look up to see his face. It was all blurry.
I tried to mutter but not one word came out from my mouth. For the second time, I felt like I was slipping into unconsciousness. I tried to fight it but not long after.
Darkness has surrounded me again...
