"Eirenne...Eirenne..." mumbled the man, sitting right next to the young lady on the bed.

She peacefully lie in bed. His brows furrowed, he let out a sigh. He looked outside the window near the bed.

The door swung open, a man in an armor entered the room, it was none other than the General—Percival. The sound of both his footsteps and his heavy metal armor echoed in the four corners of the room.

"How is she?" He asked. He glanced over his shoulder.

"She's alright, it's been 3 days and yet..." The man paused. Percival raised his brow.

"Is there still no sign of her gaining consciousness?"

The man walked towards the window and open it, the gentle cold breeze entered through it. Swaying his long, white hair; he tucked it behind his ear.

"It wasn't her time yet..." the man muttered. Percival looked away.

"It was an order." He answered.

The man faintly smiled. Everything was seemingly calm, the only thing you'd hear was the faint rustling of winds and birds chirping.

"Ah yes, from the foolish king?" He said and turned around to face Percival.

Percival's eyes squinted, he draw his sword and pointed it on the man's neck; it was a straight, double edged sword. He was on the other side of the bed, barely even extending his arm and yet to sword is near enough to prick the man's neck.

"Insulting His Majesty? Are begging to see the Grim Reaper?" He stated.

"He who rules the land with a heavy iron fist, he who declared war that ended up destroying not only his enemies but also the land, killing many of his subjects he has sworn to protect and rule over. Is he not a fool engulf by greed and wrath?"

Seem unbothered. Percival gave him a piercing look.

"Be grateful, I'm the one who's hearing these stupid claims. If it was anyone else, you wouldn't even been able to finish your sentence." He said as he withdraw his sword.

Percival turned his back and opened the door.

"Even if she is the sorceress in the prophesy, there will still be bloodshed. Your king will not be relieved of his sins...." The man added.

Percival tighten his grip on the knob. Controlling himself, he draw a deep breath.

"I'll keep that in mind..." He said and slammed the door as he exited the room.

The white-haired man looked at Eirienne. Peacefully sleeping, he held her hand and kneel.

"May you forgive them for robbing you of your life...May you forgive them for your hands will be covered in blood..." He begged as the tears stream down his face. Pity, nothing but pity for the young lady.

"Dearest Eirenne, I hope you never open your eyes and wake up..."
