Suprise

The insides were super modern. The theme was red and the lobby  was spacious.
On the right side were some comfy red chairs and a bar, behind it a very handsome barista. Next to the bar was, what i assumed was a check-out desk. In the middle was a huge desk, piled with colorfull papers and color pencils and markers thrown everywhere. Two girls were sitting on the bean bag chairs in front of it and were writing something down while chatting happily. On the left was a big TV and a white board, in front of it about ten chairs on which a few people were sitting.
Windows were around almost every wall and little palms were thrown in every corner.
There were stairs following upstairs, with white railing surounding them.
I stood there in awe.
It was completely my style and i already felt at home.
"Whoow! This is amazing" Baekhyun said, making the two girls at the tables turn their heads. When they noticed him, their giggly faces turned into flirtatious ones. They started twirling their hair and fliping them back.
I giggled as i saw Naomi squeze Baekhyuns hand and shooting the girls a disgusted look. When they realised he was not free, they turned to the first one next to him, who was Chanyeol. They smilled at him and he returned the smile.
As i turned to Sumi, i saw her getting tensed up, lowering her head and i felt as tho she was trying to suppress her tears. We need to get them together really soon, cause if not Chanyeol will think she's not interested and move on.
Chanyeol was a very handsome guy with an attractive body and could easily get any girl he wanted. But his personality seemed to match Sumis. They were both kind and sweet and had quite a lot of things in common. The perfect match.
"Okay guys lets go to check in" i said, tearing Chanyeol from the looks of those girls for Sumis sake.
We stood in front of the counter of the desk as the sweet girl behind it checked our names. "Yep, Arden Cho, you're here. But sadly you guys are not on the list so you can't go into the filming room" she declared the sad news, everybody lowering their heads while she continiued "but you can go to the room where they control the lights, audio and such. You can watch the show through the screen."
Everybodys heads shoot up, their eyes filed with joy. "So if you would follow me" the girl said coming from behind the counter and leading us up the stairs.
As we walked through the hallway i looked at the doors swifting past us. There were a lot of rooms for the technicians, for producers, hosts, excetra. "Oh, by the way i'm Hejin" the girl said while leading us to the room at the end of the hallway, opening up a door on which said 'Filming studio'.
As i saw the words i tensed up. I was feeling three times more nervous then before and my hand was shaking a bit. Suddenly i felt fingers intertwining with mine and i looked to my right to find Kai, staring down at me lovingly. He sqeezed my hand, to reasure it will be fine, and gave me a quick peck on the lips before Hejin took them away. Naomi managed to yell "Fighting" before being rushed to a room on the right.
As i steped inside there were four people talking in the middle. As i entered, Hejin behind me, they all turned their heads towards me, before a girl in her early thirties smiled and walked towards me, her hand outstreched for me to shake.
I happily took it, feeling less nervous upon seeing her smile, and she briefly introduced herself "Hello, you must be Arden right? Well nice to meet you. I'm Jisoo, the interviewer for todays show." I returned her the smile, now feling completely relaxed. "It's really nice to meet you too. I'm so glad to have the opportunity to be here. It's really breathtaking" i said in the most amazed tone i could do without giving off a feeling of unprofesionalism.
"So as you know this is the filming studio. Here you and i will sit as we'll discus about the art you made" she said, pointing at the couch which was brightened by the lights, and then continuing  "and here they will film the interview." she pointed at the whole set of cameras and lights. "Your friends will watch from the operation room through the screen and we will have a break in between, so you can talk to them then."
I nodded in response, her clapping her hands and continuing  her speech "So, shall we start?" "Well of course" i said as we sat down. She handed me a script and began explaining as she saw my confused face "Don't worry you will have a free spech this is just for when i come in at the begining, introducing you."
I relaxed and read over it swiftly and nodding in understanding. I handed her the script back and fixed my hair so i would at least look accepting for the camera.
"Andd..action!" the director said, Jisoo waiting a few seconds then speaking "Hello world! Here today with you Kim Jisoo and with me i have a young Arden who erupted on twitter with her amazing post. Her amazing drawing and painting skils amazed every BTS fan as she drew all seven members on her wall! She then proceeded to post it on twitter and in just 3 days got a huge amount of likes and retweets, making BTS themselves notice her!"
Her loud - energetic voice made me stiff at first but as i got used to it, i relaxed and fell into the comfort of the couch.
" So Arden. You are 22 right?" I replied with a nod. "How does it feel to gain such a huge following in such a short amount of time? A lot of people are now following you and waiting for new updates" she started once more. "Well it makes me feel successful. Like i finally achieved something in my life. It feels reasuring, that, i too, can succeed" i replied to her question, trying to look as much as relaxed as i can be, even tho i was terrified.
"Well before we get into the whole post thing i would like to ask you a few questions about you personally." I nodded again, as she continued " So Arden, do you have any other talents besides drawing and painting?" I thought to myself for a second before anwsering "Well quite a few actually. I sing, dance, rap, cook, i also play basketball, piano and guitar, i am good at running and i know taekwondo, karate and judo, and sometimes i also snowboard. And i think that's all."
She stared at me, her mouth lightly opened in disbelieve. "How do you do all of that?" "I myself don't actually know that" i replied giggling. "So how long have you been listening to BTS?" she asked and i immediately answered "From the very first song. I saw them the day they debuted and i instantly fell in love. I believed that they would be on the top some day and now they are. It kinda makes me feel like a proud mother." Jisoo giggled before talking "So did you go to any of their concerts? And do you have any of their merch?" "Well i went to three of their conterts and yes, i have a lot of their merch. My room is basically filled with their stuff."
"So now about your amazing art. How long did it take to paint them? I belive it's hard to draw them on paper but on a wall? That's a whole another level" Jisoo commented and i nodded in agreement. "Yeah it was hard to do that, especially when you can't erase the mistakes. But all together i was painting them for about a year" was my answer. "A year?! You must have had a lot of patience." "Yeah, it does take a lot of it. But because they are BTS i tried my hardest and well, succeeded" was my brief anwser.
"Well Arden we were once again surprised and amazed by you. But we do have a surprise for you, that you'll probably like" Jisoo said with a smirk that made me uneasy.
What was the suprise? I had absolutley no idea. But after her words the director yeled "Cut!" and they stoped roling. "What surprise?" i asked out of curiosity. "Well if i told you it wouldn't be a surprise right? Come on let's take a break."
I was so curious and i was getting more nervous by the second.
I didn't like surprises. They make me anxious. And waiting apparently.
I sighed as i followed Jisoo out of the room.
"You can get your friends from the room and just go to the bar downstairs. Tell them your name and you can order whatever you'd like. You and your friends" she said, smiling, before going downstairs.
I knocked on the door and everybody bursted through them, hugging me. "You did amazinggg! You're such a natural! That's my best friend everybody" Naomi keept yelling and i had to sush her up since people gave us weird looks. "Don't go crazy here . You can release yourself at home but not now" i reminded her and she lowered her voice but still jumped around. I rolled my eyes, smiling at her cutness, and headed to the bar.
"Hi, um my name is Arden. They said-" I was cut of when the bartender nodded and said "Right Arden. What would you and your friends like?" "Um i'll have a strawberry smoothie" i said shooting him a smile. I sat down in a bean bag chair at the big table in the middle, my friends joining me one by one.
"Soo, Arden. What do you think will be the surprise?" Baekhyun questioned. "Hmm, i actually don't know. I kinda hope for some BTS merch, but i feel like that's not gonna happen." "Hey maybe they will give you tickets to the concert" Sumi sugested. "Yeah i don't think that's gonna happen either" i replied.
I knew it wouldn't happen. It was too big of a suprise. They wouldn't do that. Would they?
"Hey you never know" Xumin sad and i just shrugged my shoulders, drinking my strawberry smoothie that the barista brought.
Suddenly i saw something in the corner of my eye. Something that seemed so familiar.
That back.
I would recognise it anywhere. He was wearing a black t-shirt with a pink writing i couldn't read since he was too far.
I saw that back so many times. But i still couldn't pinpoint to who it belonged. I nudged Naomi while the others talked. "Naomi look, look!" She quickly turned to the direction i was pointing at and saw the guy. "What is he doing here?" she wispered to me. She too recognised him and gave me a woried look, before continiuing "What if he's stalking you?!" I thought about it and replied "I don't think so. He's always in front me"and she just shrugged it off.
"Hey guys. I think we will have to continue soon so finish quickly and we'll see you upstairs" said Jisoo before going up the stairs.
We all finished our drinks and headed upstairs, me to the studio and the others into the operation room.
Jisoo was already siting on the sofa reading over the script. I sat down next to her and she put down the papers, smiling up at me.
"Shall we start?" she asked. I nodded and the camera man started rolling.
"So Arden, are you wondering what your surprise is?" Jisoo asked and i nodded again amiling widely. "Well we won't let you wait. Come in with the surprise!" she shouted.
As the door opened i froze.
No way.
