The Rookie

Rikard's Pov

"Mr. Vasques? What is your culture?" the man asked me.

I rolled my eyes and said, "We're Mexican. American Latinos. We believe in God and we're not some hardassed drug dealers or addicts. I earn my money through hard work. Just like my mama and papa did."

The man raised his gun more and said, "Who's 'we'?"

I sighed.

"Cat, come here. The nice police officer wants to see you."

The man looked behind me at Cat. She hesitantly came out from behind the curtains.

Her waist length curly hazel hair covered her face and shoulders. Her cuppachino compkexion was barely conceiled by her skimpy pink nightie.

She had her pink plump bottom lip in her mouth, biting down on it. Her goldish brown eyes were half hidden by her log eyelashes.

The man let his gun fall slightly as his eyes raped Cat's seventeen year old body.

"Who's this? Your girlfriend?" he asked, not taking his eyes off of her.

"This is Catherine, my little sistr. She's still in high school," I said putting my arm around her shoulders.

She moved closer to me, shuffling her slippers on the tiles. Her long, soft legs were hidden behind thigh high pink socks.

The silky material of her dress made a swishing sound when she bent down to inspect a stain on her fluffy pink slippers.

"Mr. Vasquez, we will search your apartment, car and we will frisk you both," said the blonde police officer after a long moment.

"I don't want anyone touching my little sister, Officer McNeal," I said, glancing at Cat, whi wasn't even paying attention.

The man came closer to her and took her elbow, "Don't worry about it. I'll take good care of her," he motioned for an officer to take me to another room.

An older man with greying black hair came to me and pointed to the kitchen. I followed him whiel the obviously Rookie took my sister to the closest room, hers.

i dont even know why im writing this story. prolly just bored asf.
