Y/N POV

A few days after that dream I kept my eyes on Jade as well as keeping my eye out for that faunus. "Mr. L/N? Is something wrong?" I wasn't going to tell her, but could it be prevented if I were to? That was what bothered me. Could this action be the cause of her death? No! I told myself that I wouldn't allow her to die no matter what I needed to do. "Jade. Ever since I helped you in that village I can't help but get the feeling that you are interested in me. Why?" She began to stammer and stutter and to be honest I found it adorable. A pure rose in a wilting garden. All the more reason to protect her.

"W-well I-I just... um..."
"Please Jade. I must know." I looked into her eyes and a large blush spread across her face. "I-I'm not sure. I can just feel something between us. I-Is that w-weird?" I closed my eyes and sighed "Well if this "connection" is what you feel then I believe I feel it as well." Due to the dream I already knew the answer, but I wanted to hear it from her. Apparently she is still worrying over what may happen so it seems I must tell her what happened, but not at this moment.

Time Skip

These Grimm have become more annoying than Valkyrie and that is saying something. Gladly I didn't have to really do anything due to [The World] fighting for me. After all of that I decided to visit an inn and it would be here that I told Jade everything. Whether she leaves or stays is her choice and I must accept it.

"Excuse me, but are any rooms available?" Luckily this was an inn that allowed faunus inside so I didn't need to murder my way in like some sort of barbarian. "Of course. Just keep it down when you're in your room please. The last couple had made everyone stay up late due to their activities." My eye twitched as Jade blushed and fainted "D-damn perverted old man!" He just laughed at us and gave me the keys.

Finally getting to our room I saw that there was only one bed. DAMN YOU OLD MAN! Jade finally woke up and said "Mr. L/N? What happened? All I remember is being in an inn and-" I put my finger to her lips and told her "Nothing of an importance. Have a seat on the bed. I... I must tell you the truth." She seemed a little confused, but followed my order anyway.

"Years ago I was abandoned by my parents after they found out about the murders I committed. Left with nothing but the clothes on my back I roamed the streets of Vale and went through hell for 7 months. That was until one day a strange man with a cane in one hand and a coffee cup in the other decided to come up towards me. Now I didn't know what was going to happen. I didn't know if he was going to rob me of what I had or if he was going to kill me, but none of that happened. The man told me that his name was Ozpin and that he wanted to adopt me."

"W-wait your adopted father was Ozpin?!"
"Yes and not only that, but he taught me how to fight at a young age. I thought of him highly and respected his decisions." I walked towards the window and looked at the moon "Years later I found myself on a team with people who considered me as family despite my attempts of rejecting the thought. A month ago I went on a mission with my teammate Jordan Joestar who was one of the most noble people I met." I ran my finger across the large scar on my neck.

"I originally figured it to be a normal mission, but that's when I noticed Jojo's change in attitude." She tilted her head "I thought his name was Jordan?" I chuckled "We called him Jojo because of the JO in Jordan and the JO in Joestar. Anyways he was acting strange and I saw that his stance wasn't as stable as it usually is. It was at this moment that he decided to try and cut me down." Without looking I could tell that Jade's eyes went wide "W-why would he do such a thing?!" I looked down and said "It wasn't something he wanted to do. Later in our battle he told me that it was actually Ozpin's idea to do so. Saying that I was a danger to all."

I sighed as I knew she would most likely hate me after what I'm about to say "As we fought Jojo cut my head off while tears streamed down his face. He told me that he regretted this action, but what I did next may shock you." I turned to her an saw that he was actually on the end of her seat, or in this case bed. "Somehow I survived and choked him to death. At the time I didn't know what I did, but now I truly understand. At that moment that was when The World appeared, but I couldn't see it." She looked down at her knees and held her head down. "How... How could you do that?" She spoke in a manner that I was very familiar with. "I regret doing it, but I felt it necessary to my survival." I knew that our whole relationship went south as this conversation continued.

"I used a knife to cut off his head and attached my own to his body." What she said after that hurt me more than it would if it were coming from anyone else. "You... You monster! How could you take your friend's body?!"

"Jade I-"
"No! I won't listen to this. Please tell me that this is just a joke." I sighed and pointed to my scar "That scar. You told me that it happened against a Grimm! You lied to me!" She covered her mouth and said something that almost broke me "I... I can't believe I loved a monster, no a demon!"

"Jade please just-"
"No! Leave me alone!" She ran out the door and I chased after her. She ran into the forest while I tried to reason with her. I've made a horrible choice. Could this lead up to that dream? No, I won't allow it!
