Chapter 1

( Maia's POV )

"Maia ! You need to be fast ! The show is going to start any minute now ." My manager , Shirley said while I'm fixing my hair . "Here . Wear this mask . It's part of the show ." She added , handing me the black glittery mask . I look up to her and nod . I took the mask wear it . "Let's go ." She said , leading me out of my room that's written 'The Star' . She tap my shoulder and say "Okay .. The show is going to start in a minute . Make sure the audiences enjoy with the perfomance ." I just nod and look in front . My name is Yang Maia Brown . I'm 18 and this is what I do for living . Singing in the theatre .

"Ladies and Gentlemen , I present you , Your favourite singer , The Star !" Micheal said and the audiences clap and shouting . I smile and walk up to the stage . I bow and look up to the audiences and smile . When the first key of the piano starts , I started to sing ...

The song ended with its last key . I wipe my tears away , smile to the audiences and bow . "Thank you .." I bid and the audiences starting to clap their hands and whistle . I walk out of the stage and walk to Shirley as she gesturing her hand to come over there . "Wow Maia .. That was outstanding ! I'm so happy to have you as my singer .. I'll pay you more but you to come again tommorow , okay ? But today I'm going to pay you 195,000 won . Come again tommorow , okay ? Here's your pay .." She said giving me an envelope . "Oh my gosh .. I-I don't know how to thank you , Ms Shirley .. T-Thank you so much !" I said and hug her . " Haha .. Now if you'll excuse me .. I need to check the others .." She said and I nod .

( Baekhyun's POV )

That girl .. Who is she ? and her voice .. I love her voice .. That performance was fantastic ! I should know her .Yeah I should know her . I walk to the back entrance and look for that girl . "God . Where's that girl ?" I said to myself . "Excuse me , Mr Byun . May I help you ?" I turn around and see Eun Jo , the manager assistant . "I'm looking for a who sang a while ago .." I said . "Oh . You mean 'The Star' ? She just went back .." She said . "Ahh ~ Jinjja ? Um , thank you .." I said and bow . I walk back to the crowd and sit . "Where have you been ?" D.O asked . "I went to the toilet ." I lied . "Oh ." He said and turn back to look at the other perfomance .

"Ahh ~ Hyung .. Thanks about just now .. That was the best birthday present ever . Gomawo .." D.O said while bowing . "Its nothing , dongsaeng .. I knew you love singing and that's why I brought you to the theatre .. Anyways , saenggil chukahae hamnida Kyungsoo .." I said while patting his head . He just smile . "Yah hyung ! I told you not to touch Kyunggie hyung right ? He's mine ! " Kai said fumming angrily like a replica of an angry kitten . "Aish . Pabo . Kai , today is my birthday and hyung brought me to the theater as a birthday gift .. While you , you didn't even give me a thing on my birthday .. I thought you love me .." D.O said while looking away , pouting . I just stand there and do nothing . "Jagiyaa ~~ Who said I forgot your birthday ? I didn't .. I even cooked for you , hyung .. And of course I love you .. Jagiya .. Mianhae .." Kai said , holding both of D.O's shoulders . D.O giggle like a kid and hug Kai . Kai smile and hug him back . "Well .. I guess my job here is done ." I said and start walking to my black Ferrari . "Done you said , hyung ? You did nothing ." Kai said and D.O laugh . "Well , I sent Kyungsoo back . If I didn't send him back , I would've throw him into the sea ." I said and open my door . D.O's eyes went wide open because of what I said just now . "Right ." Kai said and snake him arm around D.O's waist . "Annyeong !" I wave and they wave back .

I open the door to my room and start dreaming about the girl .. ahhhh ~~~ Her voice is like an angel voice .. Her voice is like a melody for me .. But why did she wore the mask ? Nevermind .. As long as I can see her tommorow .
