Why Me?

*At LTE talent Agency*

I walked through the doors of LTE, being one of their rising theatric stars I got glares from the older actors. I signed with LTE about a year ago and if just been doing better ever since. The only problem was that they wanted me to do a couple years of college at SU. I didn't have anyone to partner with to audition though. Today was supposed to be a break day for me but the President called me in for a meeting, I didn't know what for but it had to be important, the President never calls me in during my break days. I walked into the Presidents office about ready to ask what was going on. But when I walked in my eyes landed on familiar orangeish red hair. No nO nOoOOoO it cant be him why is he here. Just then the President cleared his voice and said

"Ah Y/N  your finally here, now we can get down to business." At those words Cole turned his head and his jaw dropped.

"Y/N what are you doing here?" I was in just as much shock as he was.

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here? But to answer your question,The President called me here." He looked even more confused and to be honest, it was kinda cute.

The president cleared his voice again and said" Well it seems that you too know each other that's great and all but Y/N I need your help to decide if we can sign him." Oh great sign him hahahhah I've only had a crush on him since the first grade. Cole is the reason I decided to be an actor. 

*Flashback*

It was the first day at a new school. I just moved clear across the country, and that was kinda traumatic to me a first grader. It was recess time and I had no friends so i just went and sat on the swings. as i was slowly swinging I looked up to see a boy with fiery orange hair staring at me. He was so close that I fell backwards off my swing and landed in the bark. I scraped my elbow and I started crying. The boy walked up and tried to comfort me with "it's okay" and "It will feel better in a little bit." but that didn't help so he made a funny face, I started laughing. Then he started talking to me. 

"Hi I'm Cole, I'm in your class your name was Y/N right?" I shook my head.

"Let's Be friends okay!" Cole said with a huge smile.

"Okay" I agreed and smiled.

*Timeskip to a couple months later*

Cole and I started walking home with each other after we discovered that we are neighbors. After school one day we decided to play in the front yards of our hoses. We got tired so we decided to take a break. We sat down underneath the tall willow tree in my yard. All the sudden Cole shot up.

"I'm gonna go get some snacks" Cole said. As soon as he went into his house I ran inside of mine and went into my room. I grabbed a box and ran back out and managed to sit down before Cole got back with some otter pops. 

"Whats with the box?" he asked.

I opened the box and pulled out two handmade necklaces. "Here I made them for us."

"Cool thanks!!!" Cole grabbed one.

"Hey Y/N?"

"Yes"

"Let's Get married someday so we can stay best friends forever!"

"Okay!"

*Timeskip to age ten*

Cole and I were walking back home, both of us wearing our necklaces. We were talking  about what we wanted to do when we were grown up.

"So Y/N what do you want to be when we are grown up?"

"Well I don't know what about you?"

"I want to be an actor and I want to go to Shakespeare University and then I want to sign with LTE the biggest agency in our town, not to mention the Country!!!"

" I guess I'll do that to."

"We'll do it together."

*Flashback Over*

It didn't all go according to plan, once we hit middle school he became popular and we were never in the same classes. He started to drift away and everything became a big blur, soon When I was in high school, Junior year, I got the role of the main character in the school play. Luckily for me LTE watched the production and decided to sign me. Ever since then I've gotten a lead role in a movie and a tv show. I became pretty popular around school, but it just made Cole drift a little farther away.

"Ughh Y/N hello are you in there?"

"huh.. Oh sorry I kinda spaced out."

"Well I will explain again, I would like you to present a monologue from one of Shakespeare's plays right now, also do it in the original version." The president stated.

I already knew what monologue I was going to perform. I changed my Aura to completely pissed off and started speaking my lines through Rosalind with my anger starting to boil bit by bit.

"And why, I pray you? Fare you well." When I finished I transformed back into myself and looked over to Cole who had his mouth open.

"And that Cole is what I want to see out of you." The President stated. " I want to see that in you as you start to get better. Are you willing to do that?" The President asked.

"Yes, whatever it takes." Cole answered.

"Alright then, then consider yourself signed, oh and I want you to go with Y/N to every Appointment that she has this week that is related to work. And I am going to have the files for your schedule to be changed to match Y/N's at school. I want you two to spend time with each other so you can audition for SU together." The President declared.

UGHHHHHHHH Why ME????

A/N: Okay listen up this is going to sound crazy but this came to me in a dream. I Have had severe wrighter's block for months and this was a new idea hope you like it.
