Faded away like the sunset

I was sixteen young and naive,
All alone with fading lights,
Then came the drifting cold winds,
It was quiet in there,
The storm was a heavy laden,

We were lost in our thoughts,
Hugging each other tightly,
Lips tied close fear and safety,
You were afraid I could feel it,
The heartbeat of crazed mixed reactions,

The room was warm the heart not,
Every time I tried to drift to my thoughts,
Of when we were children of the sun,
Playing hide and seek,
Sometimes touching teasing making,

Young innocent no deprived thoughts,
Human dignity to be human weakness,
Convinced thoughts of not a big deal,
And oh the days you sung in church,
The dreams we shared nothing could stop it,

Variable confused hearts in the dark,
Still the glitter of powerful seductions,
Then it came everyone falls in love sometimes,
It wasn't fear anymore but the adrenaline rush,
Then we gave into each other in the lonely night,
Purity and celibacy faded away like the sunset,
